I wanted a TFA swindle that was able to combine, as well as not having any clear plastic, so I got a cw red alert, covered some of the details, and made the front of the car a partsforming piece.
Fully repainted it and made a not so great new head using air dry clay, the cannon is from cyberverse deluxe megatron

That's pretty cool. You could click his combiner peg forward a little to be him opening his little subspace drawer.

Looks great and the head is pretty good :thumb
At first glance I thought you just took the one of the original figure.
I'm just not a fan of partsforming but it really helps to make him look more accurate in this case. Maybe you could have integrated a ball joint to rotate the front down in robot mode.
And I'm curious how the cannon attaches in alt mode.

    Or the gatling gun.

"made a not so great new head using air dry clay" It's a design that's hard to recapture the character of and clay isn't the finest of mediums, but you absolutely still made a great one! Really helps seal in the animated aesthetic along with the paint job, despite the different style of the base mold.

So now that he can combine... any plans on a combiner, Bruticus or otherwise? ;)

That's really cool, that mold works well. The head came out pretty good. I'd love a close up if that's cool.

It's really odd how well the CW style suits animated. Good work!

This is the best custom I've seen in a minute. CW Animated? Yes, please.

    Thanks.
Yes, I plan on building bruticus, specially because DJW actually made a head sketch of him so I can at least use it as a base.
I plan on using cw onslaught and turn him into an animated version, tho I'll have to design him first.
I also want to use CW rook for brawl (cause I really don't like CW brawl), a cw aerialbot for vortex (cause I wanna use the wings to make a helicopter that resembles TFA megs) and the cw helicopter mold for blast off (mostly cause it's the one that mostly resembles a shuttle).
And of course, I'll make them as animated as I can, sanding an covering details and changing heads and/or limbs as necessary

So much better than his official CW figure. This one actually looks like Swindle!
