I feel like I should preface this by saying that I'm not a professional customizer, In any way shape or form. But having recently acquired every deluxe/Voyager tfp Optimus, I felt this one was missing a lot of much needed paint! Ill be the first to say I suck at small details though.

-dry brushed the grill, gun and most grey areas to look like metal
painted the door area to blend in better
    -added numerous missing paint apps
    -gutted and painted the weaponizer
-details like the tail lights (both the real and faux tail lights) are picked out

    Hope you guys like it!

incredible work. RiD mold gets a lot of hate compared to the first edition but i know if we got a version with this kind of paint for mass release, then this it would be near perfect.

Aw jeez, thanks for the kind words! I definitely think the PRiD Prime is an underrated mold, it's flaws are apparent sure but after the plastic shortage, the fact they got rid of the faux parts in transformation is admirable!

Yeah, that's definitely where the first edition has it beat.

That would pretty much be the thighs right? Since the lower legs need to be hollow to house the feet

Excellent work! If I hadn't already turned my RID Prime into Thunderclash, I'd have tried what you've done.

Woah! Have you posted it here? And now I've got an idea to turn another one into nemesis prime, or maybe his battle damaged self from season 3...

It's on a thread I made called the Budget Bench. I originally posted most of my customs on there when I was just starting out, now it's reserved for smaller customs I feel don't warrant on individual thread. Lately I've been wondering if I should repost some of the bigger ones on there with some added mini comics, since that's what I've been doing for awhile now.

So I have an update! I added more paint to Optimus, but he's still far from done! Just a few more places to paint, and then he's ready to be primed! (HAH, That's a pun!)

It liiiiiiives! It was mostly waiting for the blue paint and sealer to arrive! I'm very happy with the end result though, it looks much better with some better paint!

It might be a bit easier to paint parts like the hand if you take it apart. IIRC it can be done ith a screwdriver but i don't remember for sure
