I don't know if I post at the right place but I didn't find where to post questions in the radicons forums.
My problem is pin removal. I did it a lot on many toy but it was pins on plastic.
But right now, in my attempt to make a totally black G1 Ironhide, I have to mix the Ehobby IH black and red and the Ehobby Ratchet green and black. And it got pin going through metal pieces. Exactly they are rivet. So I wonder if the soldering iron method still works in this case.
And another question : How to disassemble the thights ? I see no screw or pin. Are they glued ? How to separate them ?

EDIT cause I think my english is not good enought to make my point.
So here are pictures of the galleries of TFW2005 :

See how the back of the bot is red on IH and black on Ratchet ? That are the parts I want to swap.
The arm got pins in metal part and thigh seems to be glued. Anyone know how to disassemble them ?

There already is a black G1 Ironhide, may be hard to find here. Also this should belong in toys I think.

Actually, the Black G1 Ehobby or even the original Diaclone got red parts for the robot body. My goal is to get a totally black one. Colorless.
This thread can be moved to the right place ?

It might be in Toys, but others talk about this here, so you're fine! Why disassemble anyways? You can just throw him in black paint. Or do you want the inside black to?

I'm not for paint. It'll always feel fragile to me. I prefer solid black plastic. That why I mix Ehobby IH and Ratchet (his inside is black).
I just discovered that the real vintage ones have screw for arms articulation. Not pins like the reedition.
Anyway. It doesn't help me to find a solution to remove pins from metal and how to disassemble the thights.

Who can move this thread over there ?
