    Hi,

I was wondering what would be a good replacement head for Universe Blaster to make him look more like.. well himself.

I had the idea of using a G1 Blaster head but that would've probably been too large.

Any ideas would be appreciated and I'll be sure to post the result here.

These might be a little bit small, and the forehead wouldn't quite match, but the first two molds that came to my mind were Cybertron Hot Shot/Excellion and Cyb. Defense Hot Shot.

Actually, G1 Blaster's head might work pretty well. He's a big bot, but pretty pinheaded. It wouldn't look too odd, I think. Besides, Universe Blaster's head just hangs from underneath him when in vehicle mode anyway.

I was thinking of making a head from scratch, myself. But I'll do that after I finish my BW Dinobot and Scorponok heads, though.

Did you thought of using a dremel to make it smaller or maybe like a total face transplant like someone did for their Animated Kup, but its up to you.

Found this in one of the Japanese TF boards. It's the G1's head on Universe Blaster. As I said, it doesn't really look all that bad. It's a little big, but not very.

It's not the best match, but what about Cybertron Quickmix? that antenna and visor might work well.

The G1 head is too big. It looks good in that first pic just because you can't see the whole body. It's a crap mold for Blaster anyway

What about using Action Masters Blasters head? Or is that too small?

Interestingly enough, I was already sniffing up that same tree last week... I think it's probably a bit too small...and the G1 version is just a little too big...

I think the Action Masters head + Hydrospan + Red tinted resin would be the ideal solution. The head needs to be just a tad bigger...maybe 25% larger, I think, for it to be the same scale as the existing head. With the existing AM head, his fists are almost exactly the same size as his noggin...

Hm, well...owing to the fact that's really just SKIDS' head with a little red paint, it doesn't look quite right....even though it is almost EXACTLY the same size as the Cyb. Soundwave mold's head... (Hence why so many people swipe the head from Cyb Soundwave to make Alt Soundwave...)

    But anyways, here ya go.

I saw one guy do a pretty spiffy Blaster head out of Energon Ironhide's.
