As part of his Christmas gift, I decided to redeco a Gobot Vanguard into my brother's Dodge Caravan. Making use of my job at an auto parts store that mixes color matched paint, I used his van's paint code to mix a small batch of DuPont MasterVinyl dye. I think it turned out alright, although the final coat didn't lay quite as well as it should have. Anyway, finished the details with Testors ModelMaster Acryl, some pinstriping tape trimmed down, and part of a reprolabel. Pics include some side-by-sides with the grey original.
