Been wanting to post this for a while, but I don't have the energy to go into detail at the moment. Suffice it to say, this is my interpretation of what the Legacy G2 Laser Prime COULD have been, if Hasbro weren't so committed to being cheap and lazy.

Includes Toyhax labels, paint apps, and 3D parts cannibalized from just about every kit out there.

I kinda went crazy. I never even HAD this version of Prime back in the day, but I saw what they put out and something inside me just HAD. TO. FIX IT.

I won't lie, it looks cool. Not at $179 cool, but cool. I would change the rocket launchers in the tank and hang the rocket launchers on the legs as well. Maybe a normal sword, and not the rubbish that hasbro gave. It would also be nice to print shoulder fixes.

Very nice! This mold is so fun to kit out, isn't it? I've got reprolabels and two kits on my Scourge, but still looking for kneepads and a sword that I'm happy with, and a way to fix the smokestacks; one of mine broke off so I can't just use the "slips over the existing ones" extenders I've seen (fun fact, they're trans-pink under the paint, ugh).

Same thing happened to me on one side. I just super glued it back on. I will say that Hasbro made it very difficult to transform this guy without risking those smokestacks if you're not careful.

With one exception, Flow is right about the 3D kits... the last one is actually this one -

I liked how it allowed you to convert the trailer into a mountable weapons platform without completely partsforming it. I also have the Toyhax labels for the trailer, but - that design is just... SO cheesy, and it was back in the 90's too, and you can't change my mind on that. So I decided to use the Scourge set instead and give him his dignity. LOL

BTW, some of you might've noticed that I actually cannibalized the kneepads from one of the above sets on my repaint of Earthrise Prime. I just like the way it looked, and with the color matching you almost don't even notice they're there, but you get the effect...

When you can't decide what upgrade kit you want, and just decide to get them all.. It apparently turns into a badass murderbot. Optimus won't be able to take faces anymore, as their faces won't be left after they're nuked.

LOL all the more reason he needed beefier looking legs to hold it all.

*serious Peter Cullen voice* "NEVER. Skip leg dayyy."

    Looks good!

I bought that same trailer kit from eBay for the same reasons. I was surprised by the quality of the product.
