Custom G1-style GRANDUS (from "Return of Convoy") I've got the basic build completed, and I've got the two alt modes planned out. Only thing left to do is finish up the detailing and take lots of pics. What do you guys think so far?

Dude! Grandus is sick. Easily one of the best and original customs i've seen. I hope hasbro/takara tomy will make a Grandus soon.
Sweet! There definitely hasn't been enough Grandus customs over the years & being that this mold pretty-much already transforms into a cube, HasTak have done most of the planning for you...
all I can say, I really hope he doesn't just lay down to transform but seriously, this thread is useless without alt mode pics. still, if its anything like the work you did on FM, mind will be blown.
Thanks guys. Alt mode pics will be forthcoming (hopefully within the next few days). I already have the basic layout for the two alt modes in mind, I just wanted to get the basic build of 'bot mode (as well as the detailing) finished first. As to whether it will combine with Star Convoy...to be honest, I was never really interested with the post-Masterforce Japanese line, but after talking to Aprim at Botcon and seeing the kind of work that he and Encline have been doing the last couple of months, my interest is officially piqued. Hence the work on Grandus. Who knows what may come next?
