    When I first saw Earthrise Op, I fell in love. But deeming that - as much as I hate it- Bayverse was my introduction to Tranformers as a kid...I like realism in my tfs . Plus the red was too de-saturated. So I wanted it to have a hint of realism to that already stunning mold.
    Also wanted a good mix of toon and toy inspiration.

    Ah. I’ve seen that online but wasn’t sure if it was partsforming, or how the quality was. Let us know!

    also, not sure if you are interested, as I don’t see any pix of it, but Nonnef has some pretty good upgrades for the trailer. Worth checking out if that’s your thing:

    Hey, I've got this set! It's really neat. Makes the back of the truck mode nice and squared off and folds away to give OP a backpack more along the lines of his G1 animation model... but it DOES take away the ability to peg things onto his back, like his rifle or Sideswipe's jetpack.

    How’s the plastic quality? Is it 3D printed and rough? And does it partsform or does it stay in place for transformation?

    It's on par with Nonnef or Renderform - I think this came out of an injection mold. You can transform it while it's pegged in, but there's some swiveling and pivoting that's a bit easier if you pop it off, especially since it sits on a piece that hinges open for transformation.

    I wonder why they didn’t add a 5mm post hole so it could still accommodate the gun or backpacks...

    It would require some kind of raised surface on the piece to add a 5mm port, and that basically defeats the purposes of the part.
