Behold, the first three Shattered Glass Cyber Planet Staves!

The yellow Speed Planet Staff is for the evil Autobot Seekers, team of dreadful race cars who rule the road with an iron grip. Inspired by the keys used by BotCon Bumblebee and Blurr.

The red Earth Planet Staff is for the heroic Decepticon Super Jets, who protect innocent life from high above the clouds. Inspired by the keys used by BotCon Starscream and Galvatron.

The blue Autobot Planet X Staff is for the Knights of Unicron, reformed Autobots lead by Nova Prime who now serve the rare chaotic good aspect of Unicron that dwells in the negative universe.

What powers do these staves unlock for their wielders? Are there other Cyber Planet Staves still hidden in the Shattered realm? Only time will tell.

You can order your own custom Cyber Planet Staff from Shapeways. Choose the style and color from the MANY options.

@Scaleface I wanted to message you and ask if you ever considered. A. A double sided 5mm Mini-con port. Essentially, it’s a double sided peg that one side can fit in a 5mm port, and the other side has a Mini-con port. Meaning you could turn any 5mm port on a figure into a Mini-con peg. Making any figure Mini-con compatible.

And B. If you have ever considered making either Aquatron and Combatron keys, or Keys with a 5mm peg on the backside so they can be pegged on like a shield.

I think both of those would be simple things that might garner a lot of interest.

The double side of minicon ports would be quite easy. I could probably make a big strip of them that you cut up, print them in bulk.

I still need to make the Decepticon key, vector Prime key and Giant Planet... But others could happen too.

That was my idea as well. It’s just a rod with a hole in one side that you could out 5 or so on a sprue. If you ever do pursue the idea, I’d be very interested.

I once made these wheel pegs for the Micronauts Hydra vehicle. Seems like a very close item already. Shouldn't be hard.

I usually make an order every two weeks and I'll throw some of these in so I can have a test.

Awesome. The fact there are 20 per set means you could really give an entire collection Powerlinx Ports. Now I’m just wondering what colors would go best with most figures. It would not be a good idea to paint something like this that functions via friction.

Dyeing might be a better option.

I’ve never actually tried dyeing plastic before, only painting.

It's nylon and it soaks up dye.

Heck, just hit it with a magic marker and it acts like a sponge.

Next time you get something from Shapeways that has a little bit of a runner on it, try it.
