Ok, first things first, i want to thank a good buddy of mine, MoeSizzlac (Andrew), for inspiring me to make a Bruticus. When I saw his, I fell in love with it.

And Frenzy_Rumble for helping me out with the pictures and putting up with me for nagging him all the time.

I know a lot of you are tired of the unicron/primus parts, but I'm a big fan of them, I couldn't help myself :)

    Hope you guys like him.

More to come, until then, here's Bruticus

He does seem a bit dependant on extra parts.

Sa-weeeet!! I, for one, will never tire of the primus/unicron parts. They just make combiners look look so good!

    Very G1. Nice job.

There seems to be a lot of kibble behind the legs but I can understand the need for support. Overall, I really like it. How tall is he?

I'm gonna, say it. My most favorite BRUTICUS EVER!!!!!!! :rock  Colors are perfect, and how cool of F_R for being able to capture the beauty of what I'm sure was a long ad daunting project.

The head is aptly colored and very well painted, as are the legs. The great color work you did stays vibrant through out. The whole palette is very well laid in visual coding as well as in an accurate translation of the G1 figures that we fell in love with years ago.

Man, hats off to you. I really love this one. As one of the many people who have been able to watch you paint and grow as a kit-basher and a Radicon, you have stepped up your entire game as far as brushwork and attention to detail. It has a great level of polish to it, and just reeks of straight up, old fashion kick-arse.

How outstanding! I hope someone pays an arm and a leg for it. :lol

thanks buddy, and u should def. do that! that would be awesome

thanks a lot man. he's def. a brute, and a bit heavy, good for crushing autobots

thanks chris, i'm glad you like him

thanks buddy. i'm sure i'll be making another one or 2 ;)

yea, he actually has less than the G1 toy, which had 2 fists, 2 feet, 1 head, 1 chest plate. And this bruticus has 2 fists, 1 head, 1 chest plate, and the midection down to his legs is one piece. It's less kibble than the G1, but much bigger kibble, lol

    thanks!

yea, he can stand without the piece behind swindle, but it didn't even out with brawl, so I added it to bulk swindles leg up, and give him more support.

thanks a lot buddy! that means a lot to me coming from you. I've learned so much from this awesome community, it's beyond amazing.

thanks man. the chest plate was made from random supreme starscream parts, cut up and glued together. and his head was made from sheet styrene.

    Thanks again everyone

My only...ONLY...minor complaints are: (1) the midsection/torso looks like it may need a little color here and there, like there's too much silver and gray with no other colors to offset or blend in with it, and (2) the head is nice, but it looks a bit too blocky, maybe if there was a bit more details here and there.

Other than that, it's one of the best Bruticus customs that I've seen. Bulky (I.E. strong looking) in all the right spots, without overdoing it. Plus you actually went the extra mile and modded the individual bots instead of just concentrating on the gestalt.

    Nice work!

I gotta tell ya, Thy, That is friggin nice. And to be honest I love the extra unicron/primus parts thing. Brings aethestic to whole combiner. I am with Autobotx23....Best BRUTICUS EVA! And the paint is astounding. Very G1, all of it. (now I have to copy it):D

I hope you get paid extremely well for him.

    Again---

Excellent work on this, bro! I'm using most of the same bots for my Bruticus WIP (as you may already know) and it's great to see how these bots all come together. I have a different transformation for Onslaught on mine, as well as a few others, but all in all, this is great (I'm also using a modded 2-pack Megs as Brawl). My only complaint (if you can even call it that, since I really dig this a lot), is the size of Vortex. That sucker is HUGE. It does work out alright for Bruticus, but from the pics, it looks like half of the bot is missing from the shot (due to the size of it). I really like the individual bots and mods done to them though. I've actually gone back and I'm completely re-doing Vortex on mine--been working with a couple of bots (one of which is FAB Blackout that I just picked up from turboedguy recently) that I plan to heavy mod and use plenty of styrene on to created a G1-styled Vortex.

I can't honestly complain though, man. You really did this guy justice and the chest plate and head look amazing. I like the different takes we've been seeing on Bruticus lately and I like that each of us seem to mod them a bit differently. It keeps things fresh and awesome. So ignore my "complaint", since it's not a serious one and it's very minor. Just more of an observation. This is still one of the best Bruticus customs I've seen (as others have noted--you and Moe are inspiring me to actually finish mine, which will still be some time). lol

Keep up the great work! (and so you know.........5 stars, even though I don't care for the ratings thing).

i totally agree with you man. I may add a little bit of detail to his legs. And yea, this head is a bit blocky. He'll have an alternate head as well, which is more detailed and different looking than this one. thanks man!

thanks man! i'm looking forward to seeing your take on bruticus.

    lol, thanks!

Thanks a lot Mac. I'm glad you like him. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with him.

    thanks!

He is awesome!!! I am always curious on how they connect and how combiners look from the back. Can you post some back photos?

Whoa man! Thats insane! How big is he next to other transformers? Or is he the same size as Unicron?

Oh, and I have no problem with people reusing Unicron/Primus. Full custom bodies are hard work man.
