A few years ago i lost my optimus primes head about a week ago i experimented with giving it another head an i ended up with this. i also post more posts on other pages
Right now as is it clashes with the body something fierce. If your aim is a replacement head for 20th prime i would say look else where...but in the end its what you like so go with your gut regardless of what anyone else says about it.
What about the head from a Cybertron Optimus Prime? It should be close in size and have simular features. Armada Prime's pipes reallytake away from the traditional look.
31 votes for bad? Honestly? I think it looks pretty good, as a new character though, and he'd need a new deco for that.
well,um right now im working on adding in more details to optimus prime im working on a trailer for him composed of an old broken R.I.D figure that i will never be able to fix if anyone can give me some tips that would be helpful h ppy posting.
Personally, I don't think it works well. What I do think may be cool is that you repaint the whole figure and create a fan character. I know that's not your intention here, but that's just what I see. Advice is free for you to take or leave of course. That's what we're here for (btw, I don't think "bad" would be the best word to use for the voting. I would've suggested, "Does this head mod work well?" with the answers as "YES!"; "Yeah, I can see it!; "I suppose"; and "Not really, but keep working on it!" I think that would have taken some of the negativity away. )
Have you thought about using a Powermaster Optimus Prime head instead? It's much more in scale, and looks tons better than the Armada "Fishimus Prime" head.
This could be the start of something awesome. In fact, I think the Armada Prime head works on this mold. I would paint the yellow portions silver, though. But yea, I'd like to see a fan character out of this. The head itself seems to work well with the MP mold. It's all about repainting and making the necessary mods so it all comes together. Pretty cool overall. The "bad" votes are pretty unnecessary.
IDK.....the head really didnt work well for prime as prime so def not on a MP prime. As a fan based character maybe but it would still have to be on another body, despite the weird factor it looks too small. However its still very creative work.
I voted for "No" as it was the only option available that sounded like "Doesn't work well for Optimus Prime". As a fan character it might, but I don't think it works as-is with the MP Prime mold. I can't wait to see what you end up doing with him though!
well,um dont be afraid to say if it looks bad im not offended recently ive given more attatchments to make him look better as it turns out as soon as i get the right materials im going to be painting it mettalickly which will help ive added some images so you can see i dont mind if you tell me they look bad ive also built them out of spare``fake'' transformers and one unfixable R.I.D figure The mods include gold horns on shoulders daggers on arms (left and right) silver armor just below knees also(left and right) the inside of the trailer is 100% scrap.
