Cursor keeps jumping around...

    Hello,

    when ever I type my cursor jumps around to random places on the screen. I use Windows XP with an ACER Labtop. Can anybody help me out? Thanx! :)

    Do you use a mouse attachment or just the touch-pad?

    Could be anything from a faulty laptop stand (causing your laptop to shake ever so slightly, with a high sensitivity on the touch pad, it simply means you're going to have the cursor jumping) ... or you have dust inside the touch pad.

    Absolute worst case scenario your touch-pad is dying.
