I mean look at his attitude. He is selfish, egomaniac sometimes, rude and likes to provoke to a violent confrontation. They say Drift is a former decepticon? I mean he is a teddybear compared to Crosshair.  

 

Sunstreaker is an ass, but he has always been an Autobot.

 

I doubt Crosshairs was a con. He's selfish, but his closing statement about Prime solidifies his loyalty to him.

Plus, since it seems he wasn't under leadership for the time before Prime summoned them, anyone could have easily became a loose cannon and questioned leadership. It just seems that he has the weakest attempts at resisting his temptations.

 

Lots of people can be an idiot without being bent on destruction, slavery and murder lol

 

Yeah no Crosshairs isn't a Decepticon. Autobots can be jerks too.

 

Cons are not the only ones with brash attitudes. Bots can have them as well. To me, Crosshairs came across more boastful and brash. For all that boasting and brashness tho, he's loyal and believes in the Bot cause (Cons are out soley for themselves). He reminded me of Sunstreaker in his brashness and a Wrecker in his boastfulness. I think he just like to talk trash to cover his own insecurities.

 

And Ironhide wanted to "terminate the parents" with Ratchet agreeing with "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!" So they must be Cons too right? Oh and Hound calling humans "meat bags" and asking if he can start wasting humans. He must be a Con too  

 

  I love Sunstreaker. He is a ray of egotistical sunshine amoungst the clouds of layed back Bots. He is the ying to Sideswipe's yang.

I'd say that Crosshairs and Hound are both former Thetacons, judging from their martial prowess and attitudes.

 

Sure, he was a jerk, but that doesn't mean that he isn't an Autobot through and through. I mean look at Animated Sentinel Prime...

 

He's a brash arrogant loner. His line is actually something like 'I should be in charge, then I can get rid of you lot. I'll be in command of myself!'

 

Crosshairs is the Han Solo of this group of Bots. He takes orders from only one Autobot......himself (unless he's guilt tripped or threatened by a bigger Bot). 

Seriously though, he's the lovechild of Sunstreaker and Roadbuster. No, really. 

 

Where does all that come from? That's certainly not on the toy bio.

This reminds me back in April/May when we were all defending the fact that Drift was a former decepticon in the movie.

 

Then that has no actual bearing on the movie universe. He might have switched sides because he didn't like the proportions of the Decepticon emblem.

 

what does that have to do with Crosshairs and Hound? The Theatacons were just a group of native Cybertronains that spoke up for what they believed in and spoke out against what they thought was not good for Cybertron.

No different than anyone else speaking out for what they believe.
