The whole AoA thread, with the "we hate Gambit and Rogue" posts gave me an idea. Post your ideal X-Team. Let's keep it at 8 people or less. Doesn't have to be an actual X-Man though. Any mutant in the MU would work. Mine: 1. Cyclops 2. Angel 3. Colossus 4. Shadowcat 5. Multiple Man 6. Iceman 7. Jubilee 8. Phoenix II (Rachel)
Okay, I'll play. 1. Nightcrawler (Leader and infiltrator) 2. Shadowcat (Tech, Counsil, and Ninja) 3. Cannonball (Flyer, scout, heavy hitter) 4. X-23 (Team fighter) 5. Mimic (Situational character) 6. Iceman (Elemental powerhouse) 7. Rachel Summers (Psier) Resurect the X-Factor title with this crew. Their mission... investigate reports of new mutant sightings for the purpose of evaluation on a global scale. Does the new mutant need or want help. Are they good or evil? Then go in and deal with situation as needed. Add a clandestine secreet group out to harness mutants for their own benefit and you'd have the makings of a good 12 issue series.
Cyclops Jean Grey Beast Storm Wolverine Nightcrawler Shadowcat Bishop If I could have a ninth, it would be Colossus.
Team 1: Wolverine X-23(female Wolvie clone) Colossus Ice-Man Pyro Rogue Nightcrawler Team 2: BoxII(oldschool) Cable Mystique Cyclops Jean Grey Jubilee Gambit Bad: Magneto Mystique Pyro Venom a Sentinel
1: Havoc 2: Polaris 3: Angel/arch angel 4: Psylock 5: Colossus 6: Mystique 7: Beast 8: Quicksilver I think that would lead to some interesting situations and I want to get some of my favourite x couples back together. Oh and no wolverine who's over used and no Cyclops who is a dick that I hate.
First off, kill Rogue, then: 1. Cyclops 2. Wolverine 3. Gambit 4. Cable 5. Iceman 6. Colossus 7. Nightcrawler 8. Havok(or Magneto or Exodus, if you can do bad guys, or Emma Frost if there has to be a girl on the team) Note 1: My team would never actually work unless I wrote it. Note 2. Everyone on the team would have either those big futuristic guns Cable always has, or some sort of melee weapon(Gambit's staff, Iceman would have a sword made out of ice, Nightcrawler would have a sword), except Magneto, who's too cool for guns.
1) Nightcralwer (Team Leader) 2) Juggernaut (Reformed Powerhouse) 3) Chamber (Imbittered Youth element, Psi-er) 4) Beast (Science Guru) 5) Iceman (Elemental Powerhouse) 6) Shadowcat (Tech Guru & Phaser) 7) Phoenix II (Psi-Powerhouse) 8) X-23 (Melee Fighter)
Ok I'll bite; this is a team I'm thinking of using in my grand fanfic known as... Salvation; the Comic Series set on Marvel Earth 929. This would be the Earth 929 version of X-Factor: Team Leader: Alexander Summers AKA Havok Melee Combat/Assasin/Heavy Hitter: Victor Creed AKA Sabertooth Infiltration/Espionage/Techie: Raven Darkholme AKA Mystique (She's based more on the movie version appearance wise, because Movie Mystique is HAWT!) I'm not sure as to their specialties because I haven't fully fleshed out the idea behind this version of X-Factor yet, but the remaining members include... Dominic Petros AKA Avalanche Sam Guthrie AKA Cannonball Marius St. Croix AKA Emplate (Of course this version will most likely have vastly different origins/powers [Maybe] and physical appearance, much like my re-envisioning of one Dr. Karl Lycos AKA Sauron.) Forge I only have seven unfortunately; if I was to pick an eighth member I might go with Juggernaut, or I might try my hand at creating an entirely new character. The basic premise behind this version of X-Factor is that the surviving former members of the old Brotherhood are now working with the good guys in an attempt to deal with some threat or another I haven't fully figured out yet, might wind up involving Cobra and their contiuous attempts at capturing mutants in order to build their own army of genetically modified mutant super soldiers... Or it could inadvertantly involve the Hellfire Club; there's a hell of a lot of potential in Salvation and so many story ideas with a varied array of cast members from all walks of Marveldom that in the end there's no true way to decide what to do and what not to do. Also I really just dig the fact that former enemies could turn out to be promising allies; sure Marvel's done it before, but then they up and return everything to the status quo, me I'm willing to take the risk... Then again since I am after all working on a Fanfiction; anything I do has no repercussions with the fans because hell it's not the actual Marvel comics. Still it'll be fun... Who knows maybe I'll even pair up Mystique and Havok just for the hell of it.
Storm Wolverine Rogue Colossus Havok Dazzler Longshot Psylocke What? It was the perfect line-up the first time. Now, if I were the current Marvel editor, my team would look like this: Wolverine Emma Frost X-23 AoA Weapon X Ultimate Wolverine Ultimate Emma Frost M2 Wild Thing Teenage Emma Frost It's sad because you know they'd do it if they could get away with it.
1 - Wolverine 2 - Mystique 3 - Maverick/Agent Zero 4 - Deadpool 5 - Cable 6 - Nightcrawler 7 - Phoenix 8 - Colossus
I'm glad to see Deadpool on a couple lists. If Cable and Deadpool has taught us anything it is that Deadpool on X-Men is probably the best combination since a Fastball special. So: Cyclops Beast Jean Grey Iceman Angel Deadpool The original team plus one.
Archangel has to be on the team, I was so disappointed to see him reverted to Angel. With that in mind... Archangel Emma Frost Cyclops Wolvie - orange and brown suit Deadpool Shadowcat
Cyclops Jean Grey Deadpool Iceman Colossus Bishop Psylocke Wolverine Shadowcat almost made it but I liked Psylocke a tad more.
hmm....In no particular order: 1. Archangel 2. Colossus 3. Nightcrawler 4. Iceman 5. Beast 6. Mystique 7. Psylocke 8. Jubilee
