I know not a lot of us are really into these but isn't this the first Lockdown to be released in the AOE line?

Prime is a hunk of grey plastic with very sparse paint.

These were spotted at the target in El Cajon Ca near San Diego

That Lockdown looks pretty cool. I thought Bumblebee was going to be released first?

I was just holding that exact same Lockdown last night. Because there was only one Lockdown at the El Cajon Target.

Looks pretty badass for being a flip-and-change - guy's near Leader-size in bot mode - but ZERO leg articulation.

Can't say for Lockdown, but I saw a few Smash & Change Silver Knight Optimus Primes at a Target in Iowa a few days ago.
I thought it was that Leader Class Platinum Edition Silver Knight Optimus for about four seconds.
As I was unaware there was a smash & change one too, lol.

That Lockdown looks kinda neat. I might pick it up just because I love the character.

It's also nice to see Target getting their exclusives. Hopefully that means the Two pack with him and Grimlock isn't too far behind!

I've been interested in that Lockdown since Toy Fair...I'll have to keep an eye out for it. It looks pretty cool for such a simplistic toy.

I am curious to know if there is any indication that Lockdown's head is reversible and has his more humanoid face on the reverse side at all ?

Call me old fashioned but I'd rather have had the resources of such a large toy put into a Age of Extinction Human Alliance line instead and if the one-steps had been only no bigger than a deluxe or FAB I'd have felt that was less of a controversial used of the stores shelf space than they are.

It's not so bad in America as at least you can (usually) get Generations Movie toys too - but that choice is some what slapdash in the UK where it's offered at all and the only Movie toys in general retail are the ones even smaller than Lockdown here - I suspect if I did want to buy this toys Ii'd not have a mega easy job finding it (ironically).

Its like they made more of kooky kiddy stuff from the DOTM era but flipped it so it's the lead line not a trailing one. I hope some people are somewhat agreating to them at Botcon they do deserve it.

If I was being sarcastic i'd say cherish your lockdown as he's one of the very few Decepticons you will see this year.

I saw that Silver Knight OP at my local Target a couple of days ago and I am quite surprised how much silver paint it actually uses.

If they don't make a bigger Generations Lockdown, or a smaller Optimus, I might need this. I just can't see Deluxe Lockdown kicking around Leader OP.

How hard are kids supposed to smash these? Like Hulk smash?

On the good side Lockdown has more paint than Optimus and more detail that I can see... I may buy a Lockdown and turn it into a better figure with more detail... but I have no interest in getting either of these in their current state and I don't think kids will either as they don't look detailed or entertaining enough.

Maybe if your kid is very young and doesn't care as long as they have stuff to play with - but I know the young me would be appalled at the lack of detail and accuracy.

Its more along the lines of you grab the arms and swing it dangerously around - probably hitting yourself in the process... :L

Mostly concerned about the arms on these things - they'd probably have a lot of wear and tear if every Transformation is just spinning those delicate gears...
