i haven't touched it in a couple months so i don't know how this happened. i can't get the end of the bottom part of the handle out and i'm not sure what i should use to reattach it. epoxy?

    That... seems bad...
Hum... I would try to glue back the handle to the stuck bottom part first (BUT very CAREFULLY, just a little bit of super glue, without excess, because it CANNOT glue the stuck bottom part to the rest...). I would leave it resting for a day. Then I would apply some oil like WD-40 oil and also leave it resting for another day. Then I would try to remove it gently (maybe applying some hot air?). Kind of a long shot, but oh well... I can't think of anything better...

The metal pin suggestion is pretty good. Without it I imagine the piece would eventually break again even with the best glue available. You could also dig the broken bit out of the hole and there might be enough plastic left on the handle to plug back in. If I was to do that I would drill a tiny hole in the snapped off part, put a small screw in it, and then pull it out with pliers.

Or you could preorder a replacement from BBTS for $11.99.

I honestly think you can't go wrong with multiples of this thing.
