Inspired by Bumblebee's Action Master accessory, here's a copter backpack for him!

    01.JPG

Had initially planned to go with just two turbines which sit over his shoulder when in use. But doubled that up to have a four turbine setup instead!

    02.JPG

    03.JPG

So when assembled, this just pegs into Bumblebee's central back port, allowing him the power of flight now! Woopwoopwoop~

    05.JPG

Each turbine also sports a 5mm port for effect parts to wooooosh around with.

    06.JPG

And this allows his roof to peg on also, so he doesn't have any loose kibble lying around to misplace!

    07.JPG

There's also an alternate version with individual rotor blades.

    08.JPG

So these allow for the blades to be fully extended for flight mode ...

    09.JPG

... or stacked double, for storage.

    10.JPG

But wait, there's more! Taken of his back, with its turbines folded horizontally, and the rotors attach to the top of it - this addon transforms into its drone configuration!

    11.JPG

Another set of eyes in the sky to get more intel never hurts!

    12.JPG

Effect parts optional, but makes things much more dynamic!

    13.JPG

And where targets need to be taken out remotely, simply attach Bumblebee's cannon for more ... punitive measures.

    14.JPG

As another homage to the original figure, the entire piece can be attached to the end of Bumblebee's cannon, making it an even lengthier and more imposing weapon!

    15.JPG

And finally, with a coat of different colors - let's also get Cliffjumper outfitted with this and together they be the tip of the spear for the Autobot Air Corps!

    16.JPG

A quick side view comparison between these too - who wore it better?

    17.JPG

And similarly, everything pegs onto the back so there is no kibble left loose. And it does get these two little bots a more kitted out feel too!

    Bumblebee_Copter_Render.JPG

Here's a render of the piece, showing a little more of the details which were washed out by subpar photography :p

Hope y'all enjoyed this little homage to our minipal's Action Master roots. =D

Sorry for the out of universe reference. I was just being a little silly. Apparently it was a weird time. 70’s?? I forget. It’s always interesting how a character can be introduced but then be taken in a better direction. This sounds like a “The basics on _______ transformer” Lol.

Great work as always. The creativity and versatility is amazing.

Ah, indeed have never seen that before and it sure looks goofy! There's something about the 70s and 80s which had a lot of fun, wacky stuff!

And appreciate for the kind words too! Always fun to play with concepts and see how far they can be pushed :p

This is awesome! My only Bee growing up was Actionmaster Bee. I really enjoyed playing with him and that copter backpack. You've not only recreated it but made it better. Kudos to you!
