Hopefully Age of Extinction is a big enough success to spawn at least two more sequels, so I thought we could use a thread to talk about stylistic choices you would like to see in the sequels.

For me, the one thing I really want to see in the sequels is another human transformers/pretender. They had one in Revenge of the Fallen but I thought the idea wasn't used to its best potential. On top of that, Alice's robot form was Frenzy 2.0.

Now, from a stylistic choice, the other Transformers always showed off various car part kibble across their bodies. So why not give the human transformer/pretenders human kibble? It could be freaky if done right. These should be the most uncanny valley of the cybertronians.

How about optimus primes unicron trilogy like super mode with gazillions of guns and blades to kickass or combiners unlike devastator

 

Id enjoy some Headmaster/Targetmaster action. Maybe in TF5 Crosshairs gets a little buddy who turns into a sniper rifle or a better gun for him. I think that would be pretty cool. I like the sleek look they are going for in AOE so that could keep on going.  

I definitely dont want any more combiners. I hope they use new ideas

I'd like to see more space theme battles, it doesn't matter if it's a flashback or current time, It be nice seeing more battles being taken place in space. I really enjoyed the Cybertron battle sequence in DOTM and seeing different Cybetronian technologies being used (such as the missile used by the Decepticon ships). It would be an amazing breathtaking visual and something unique that hasn't happened yet in the movieverse.

 

Actually, I would enjoy the hell out of that. Hell, I'd love to have a flashback of the Autobots fighting the Decepticons back on Cybertron.

 

What about zombie transformers they can be dark with creepy sounds? -

Maybe have our human cast surroundd by pretenders

 

i would love for them to bring in ideas from Transformers Armada and Transformers Energon. Where we see any robot combine with eachother to form another one. Or Maybe mini-cons can be introduced that would be kick ass!

 

That too, there's just so much potential creativity for a Cybertron Battle.

 

I wanna see them play up a Cosmic Horror aspect with some Transformers-like, think about what their very existence would mean in real life.
1. Aliens would pretty much be proven as being on a similar evolutionary level as us (that is, they aren't clouds of dust that communicate with EMPs or shit)-that would already disprove a shit ton of scientific theories about extraterrestrial life.
2. They turn into vehicles-that would affect the auto industry BIG, seeing as how now, everyone is paranoid that THEIR FUCKING CAR COULD BE A GODDAMN ALIEN ROBOT.
3. "If God made us in his image...who made them?" I always liked this quote, even if it was from a cinematic abortion of a film. The TF's existing would fuck with SO MUCH religious scripture-religious officials would go insane, the Pope would have to address what they mean, some religions might capture and kill them at the order of their Gods...it would pretty much change everything we know about religion...
4. ...as well as science. Now in all fairness, they're playing this aspect up in AOE, so good on them-it would still be an insane scientific discovery just to capture one dead and study it. New metals, fluids, elements...it'd be a gold mine of scientific info.

Very little of these are played up in the films, and it's a damn shame-realistically, who the fuck would instantly accept the existence of GODDAMN ALIEN ROBOTS? I haven't even gotten into the real Eldritch Abominations, like Unicron, Primus...shit, even the Vok (btw if they aren't mentioned in TF4 I'll bitch slap a motherfucker). This is just the normal, everyday bots-the "Average Bumblebees" if you will.

 

A Bayformer Sky-Lynx, a shuttle that turns into a dragon/griffin creature.

Combaticons as some "Full Metal Jacket" special corps unit, who turn into military vehicles and can combine.

 

What about unicron controlling primus? 2 massive transformers attacking earth

 

I like to see this actually, impacts by the aliens in the real world, I would like to see the havoc it would cause.

It's not unheard of. One of the best UK Marvel TF stories was City of Fear and featured hordes of TF zombies. Plus the UK Titan TF comic did a story where after the 2007 BayFormers movie the (un)dead Decepticons got back up and started fighting again.
Plus we had all those risen from the dead TF in TFP Darkness Rising and zombie Skyquake wandering about that parallel dimension thingy later in the main series.

 

Ive often thought about how City Of Fear would be an awesome basis for a Movie, could be a good way to introduce Ultra Magnus to the current movieverse! The Transmitter that brings dead bots to life could even be used as a weapon of the main villain!

One thing I would like to see, is some severe Mass Shifting, G1 style. Before Transformers07 came out, when I thought it was gonna be mad G1 style, I was thinking about how crazy Soundwave would be, some dude picks up a CD player, and then it suddenly grows and changes into a 100 Ton 30ft Con leering down at him. Done right, it could be quite creepy and exciting. I know mass shifting is not popular with many. Before you say!  

 

I personally like mass-shifting. I kinda miss it it in current TF media. Same with individual special powers.

And yes, 'BayFormers: City of Fear' with Ultra Magnus: Zombie Hunter would be worth risking an eye on.
