Yeah that’s fair. But this definitely feels more intentional. Maybe it was planned to be a feature so that you could then add whatever you wanted in the 5mm ports on the guns but the sword couldn’t hold together so they scrapped the seperation and used a screw to keep it together.

 

I feel like people keep making a bit deal of it because they're trying to force the use of the tank barrel as a hand-held weapon. But it was designed to be a sword, and that's just the way the toy is.

 

It's perfectly acceptable in this thread, but not the other hidden features thread where the rules are much more clearly spelled out and defined. This thread is the perfect place for this post.

Siege Megatron doesn't actually have treads. There's like thrusters of a sort near the wheels which means he's a hover tank!

 

I don't know if this has already been posted, but Siege Hound is Mini-Con compatible.

On the Studio Series 18 Bumblebee, I found the the window parts that fold down have a hinge, and you can fold them inwards for a cleaner look

 

Bad idea in the long run. That's just an attachment point, not a "hinge". The edge is squared off to block the rotation. Applying repeated stress on those joints is a bad recipe in conjunction with translucent plastic.

If you want to continue using that piece as a hinge, then sand the corner down so that it hinges smoothly.

Siege Micromaster Top Shot's turret is mounted on a 5mm peg. Pull hard enough and it'll pop off.

Discovered by accident when I pulled the ladder assembly off my fresh out the packaging Red Heat!

Of course that means the Turret & Ladder parts are swappable between the two toys.... and it also means the vacated 5mm hole can be used to mount other things....

This shouldn't be a hidden feature, but nobody uses the sword gun properly oh well here you go...
