According to Seibertron.com, the DVD with the Animated Prime and Megatron 2-pack will have just the first episode, "Transform and Roll Out pt 1". http://seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=12657 That's unfortunate that it's not the full movie.
Sooooo glad I did not order this package from HTS. I had a bad feeling about this package after being suckered by the Classics Op vs. Meg pack. And to think I passed on the Ultra Mag and Skywarp two pack. Still kicking myself for that one.
I didn't ever think it would be the whole movie, that's way too generous for what is essentailly a freebie. Just having the first episode will give anyone who hasn't seen it a taste of what the show is like.
This is new? I've known about this since October: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers...-animated-episode-1-rated-by-the-bbfc-154908/ Granted, that's the BBFC and does not speak for all regions, but I doubt the content would change much between regions.
Yeah, never really thought this was going to be the full three parter. Not even sure why people would think that when this is essentially a free packin-in with two $10 figures.
And considering it has the American FBI warning at the beginning, it was always going to be the same. Unless the FBI has some power in this country.
Maybe if you kept them in the package I might be able to see that. Maybe. Once they are out though you're stuck with an ugly Megatron and an Optimus Prime that splits in two every time you even think about transforming him and parts falling off just touching him.
Fair enough. But with the one news post on the front page (the one about the assortment breakdowns) implying that we didn't know about what was on the DVD, I had assumed that this was previously just a rumor and not confirmed.
I think it just got forgotten or passed over while all the other animated figures were appearing on ebay since it wasn't a big deal.
Ah, no worries. Like I said, that was from the UK board so we didn't know if the US one was the same. And I'd rather deal with repeated news stories than the news never being broken in the first place
