I did do a search and found nothing and I am wondering if anyone who can read japanese can give me the customer support email for Takara Tomy?!

I got a Henkei Convoy/Optimus and he came with two left fists and I want to just get the right fist piece and swap it out myself without having to go through the hassle of an exchange.

Can anyone help? Has anyone had this problem before?

    Thanks in advance.

If you bought it from an online retailer like BBTS or TFSource, you might be able to contact them about a replacement. I say might, given the rare nature of the figure and how hard it is to acquire stock of them. Otherwise, I dunno what to tell you, duder...

Henkei as a line has been pretty notable for QC flubs, in particular, coming with two of the same sided fists/shoulders/missile launchers/legs/thighs/etc.

Sadly, its just the luck of the draw. :(  I just super sucks when it happens to a toy that cost 200 bones or more...

Hope you can get this sorted out.

unfortunately, even if you do get in touch with them, the figure is old enough that they probably don't have replacements lying around.

Well, you could buy a Junker Classics Prime and swap fists? I'm sure someone on this forum has to have one, check out the Junkion:thumbs2:

They don't deal with customer overseas nor their products exported to other countries.
The packaging printed with "For Japan Only" for a reason.

There is no email for customers service. You have to contact them by phone and talk to a representive.
Their Tokyo local number is 03-5650-1031 and Osaka local number is 06-6395-1031. Business hours are 10am to 5pm except Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

I shoudl have their address somewhere around, from when we received the e-Hobby toys with incorrect weapons. I'd have to find the letter that came back from Takara appologising for it.

Mis packed toys are a pain, one of our G1 Japanese cassettes had two left guns .. no chance on getting a swap on that one.

Oh yeah, forgot to respond to this in the WA St. thread...

I agree with ChrisR291, find a junker Classics Prime for the fist. Both figures use the same tone of black plastic.

EDIT: Or you could buy Venksta's Optimus Axe when he finishes it and hide the not-right hand of his. http://www.renderform.com/?p=359

Or, get some Miliput putty, and make your own. Cut off the incorrect one, and epoxy the new one in place.
Milliput is the best modeling putty out there. It's two-part, easy to mold, hardens quickly and easy to carve, cut, sand, paint.
    Just my suggestion........................

Looks like if I can't exchange it, finding a junker classics prime is my best bet. :(

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help :)
