i got stuck on longhaul so i decided to finish this guy off to get him ready for paint head is attatched and collapses into the chest and might add some more detail to the top of the shoulders before i paint but im really happy with how this one turned out and paint will really make him pop

i dare to see even without a head there is no mistaking this guy but i set one on his shoulders just for fun. i am pretty happy wiht the level of detail i was able to achieve wiht this guy and my styrene skills are advanceing but i do still need some help what thickness for the panel that will cover his back
    A .10
    or
    B .030 thick

but as you can see he is a seeker no more thanks for looking as always guys ill post another update after i figure out the back, but this guy is a few more details away from being ready to paint

a huge thanks goes to cashanova for the idea of how to get the arms right which in turn made the alt mode just about perfect now all that is left i sthe styrene work to make the chest, back and side panels to cover the arms all look right, oh and a head

and the cab is just setting there till i get the back panel right

here is a vey early wip that i am sharing because i am curious what you guys think be honest as i have my reservations on my design but i am curious how you guys see it

the form and transformations i am extatic about as it is nearly identical to the g1 figure. i will obviously add more dtail to make it ressemble the character ( i have been using the IDW all hail megatron series for most of my work)

so tell me what you guys think

I feel like the arms should be longer to balance the legs somewhat, but otherwise, this is a brilliant bash! Nicely engineered!

brilliant, if you reshape the back and attach the scoop he'll be near perfect. By the looks of things the top won't be able to rotate but with an accurate transformation for a good robot mode and vehicle mode...
    who cares

that is exactly how i felt im glad someoone else noticed it as well kinda stuck on that part which is why i posted thanks guys

oh and he doesnt have waist artiiculation but the cab slash turret does twist

added bucket and i think this is the cab im gonn a go with

i really want to use a set of smokescreen arms for him (ive been trying to get a spare one for a week or so) as i thought the arms would be short from the begginging and they will fit and attatch with little modification to the seaker body and that will give the upper turret in alt mode some more bulk gues im done till i get arms

this is looking really great man. awesome bash u have going.

the only nitpick i have, is longer arms would be better proportion wise, like smog said, but the alt mode is so awesome with the seeker choice. and after looking at the bot mode a few times, it's not too bad, IMO

i say go with it man.

i love how u are making them , so cartoon acurate ,and so different from what we have seen till now

    longer arms for sure

i wasnt sure in the begining about the seeker body , but it works real good ,the cab and the bucket fit in like a glove ....(read with ace vantura's voice ) -lol

I say yes to longer arms! Other than that it's looking good. I do like how each one of these is shaping up.
