UPDATED with all new pics. Added darker green washes to the green parts and re-did all of the dirt.

He may be a con, but ya know he'd make a decent daddy because he's in it for the LONGHAUL.

I filled 6 ugly robot mode torso screw holes and repainted everything but the green, which I only added dirt and minor wear to.
I like the green color fine so I will not be messing with it on any of these for the most part aside from wear and extra details.
Longhaul will be the dirtiest of the group, though mostly just around where he has been carrying dirt and rock in the bed part.

    Figure by Maketoys.
Comments, critiques, opinions, and suggestions more than welcome, but remember this isn't a debate on which is better out of Maketoys and TFC! :)
That seems to come up whenever these are posted...

Hope ya like! 5 more to come.

looks like someone was eating chocolate then forgot to wash before handling him. Doesn't look like dirt at all.

Other than that it looks great, love the detail and how you plugged the holes.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure how the dirt looked myself really. I used reference pics of the actual Caterpillar trucks and they usually looked pretty clean aside from dusty-dirt on the tires and rim of the dumper part. That's what I was going for but drybrushing a haze of dusty color around the rim wasn't working out well at all. I ended up just doing this muddy bucket rim thing instead.

Thyvipera I did consider washing the green parts with a darker green or brown/black mix, but then he would be really dirty and I'd have to do the same to the others. I really don't want them to look super dirty. Just where it needs to be so they are still somewhat cartoon vibrant. My main goal here is extra detail and realism.
I'm thinking a light wash on the green parts in a slightly darker green and use thinner on a brush to turn that chunky chocolate into a much lighter hazy dusty residue.
    Does that sound good?

    EDIT/UPDATE
I did just that. Washed along the lines on the green parts with a darker green as not to make the green look too dirty, then used much more thinned out browns and grays to make the dumper rim a less chunky, hazy dirty. Also it didn't make sense for there to only be dirt on the rim edges so I did the entire inner bed.
Is that better looking and is the dirt more realistic?
Pic below. If that looks way better I will do robot mode and get new pics.

love the red highlights on the bot. thats gotta be my favorite shade of green on a Devy aswell. I honestly liked the less amount of darker mud than the latter. I think that amount of a realistic paint app kinda hurts the image of scale on the front end. its too bad the bucket is just a part big enough for an app that kinda over shadows possibilities for other apps. (app app app!)

Before or after I changed it?
Is it too much now? Just right?
I'd like some opinions before I make any final changes and re-take the photos.

I dig it.I love the OG paint schemes as well.Great job on all ends.I'm still noob when it comes to who makes what outside of Hasbro and the Masterpiece ones I've seen for sale on the www,so....Maketoys is just another toy company that happens to make these things?Curious is all.

looking forward to the combined beast man. and thanks for accepting my criticism. i was hoping for a more dirty/grime look, but that's only my personal "vision". I think these are turning out great, cant wait for the big guy.

Oh I agree that could look really cool. Honestly I just wanted to make some improvements to what I already loved though. I have done really dirty paint jobs before and ended up not really liking it, feeling like I made a cool toy look nasty. These were too expensive for me to take the chance of feeling that way in the end.
