Honestly, I was a bit surprised the line continued into AoE stuff. Those never seemed to move very well, even on clearance. I think it only lasted because they had expanded shelf room for the movie roll-out. I think their space will now be taken by the mash-ups, which seem to be doing reasonably well.

My diagnosis: It's dead, Jim. Look for them at a Ross near you.

I've seen some of the bigger ones at Five Below. If I had any interest, I would have picked up Megatron and a few others.

Selfishly I'm glad. The line never interested me and has been the most ubiquitous on the shop shelves in my area the past year or so.

I liked the early releases, but after they got rid of the 5mm peg connectors, something just felt off about them. They just aren't as fun as the original ones, even if the transformations are better now.

I could see Hasbro making a combiner gimmick like older Bionicles for 2015.

AoE Construct Bots are already on clearance at Target.

This line was pretty much DOA.

Part of me is glad as Hasbro can focus their efforts elsewhere, *cough* *cough* Generations*cough* *cough*...

Nothing about them is 'attractive', they may be fun, but I don't find them attractive. Why not seal a deal with Lego's Bionicle and Lego's LEGO for Kreo.

Seriously, I'm not surprised, my local TRU can't seem to shift them. There are two areas in my TRU, one area, taking a large space as you walk in is for all the new AOE stuff and the other area is for Transformers use all year round, that's where, when the AOE display gets taken down everything will get displayed again.

Within these two spaces are a shit ton of Construct 'o' bots.

When you get down to it, the only Hasbro transformer lines that really go on, are the mainline transformers. I liked the contruct-bots, but they acted note as a novelty than a full figure, and whenever I posed them, I just felt that Lego does this better. RIP contructbots, if you do fade away.

Can't see it going for much longer really. The whole line feels more like an experiment that lasted longer than it should have.

I have quite a few of them...got em all on clearance...but I really dig them. My 6 year old son loves them. Now...would I pay full price? Probably not.

Too much hate for these guys. Only thing lacking is random colors for parts so I can create my own transformer. Seriously guys, the ability to make your own and it gets hated?

Personally I'd suggest waiting until Toyfair before we declare the end of the line, or the death of it. I would strongly think that they'd have some for RID as a tie-in as well. Keep in mind that the Construct-Bots are not designed to be a massive line like the Generations, only having a small number of them per year makes perfect sense.

I still collect them and enjoy them fairly well, and while I am disappointed in the change from the 5MM peg system to the c-clip system of builds the figures are still fun.
