Eh... no. They aren't going to just go and destroy a bunch of toys they made. They will sell them off somewhere.
Why not? If Transformers ever becomes something I have no interest in, I can't see myself continuing to buy the toys. Transformers have been cool for some time now. But there's plenty other cool stuff I could spend time and money on.
Sorry to hear that. I really liked the series and the toyline... wait a minute, where is my Arcee, Hasbro guys? Anyone at BotCon, please punch them in the face if the confirm the toy line is also cancelled. And give them my address. Anytime!
Thank goodness, maybe they can start a real transformers show now. I could only watch about 4 or 5 episodes, thats all the tolerence I had... perhaps its because im not 5 years old.
This news sucks ass. I really thought we'd get more, just much later than desired, due to the new movie taking the franchise spotlight. But at least it went out on top. Season 3 of Animated is what made the entire run completely gel for me, because the growth from S1 to S3 was immense. It went from a good show in S1, to a great show in S2, to an ungodly fantastic show in S3. At least it bowed out on that score. And the negativity towards the S3 finale in some capacity is really unfair, in terms of it being a "series finale." It wasn't meant to be one, to my understanding. It just so happens now that it is, which is really unfortunate. It's lame to judge it on the merits of what it didn't accomplish, as it clearly had no intended structure to do a lot of what people claim it DIDN'T do. It was intended to supply a satisfying conclusion to the 3rd season, which it certainly did. All other loose ends pointed towards at least another season, which we now know we won't get. I just hope with things official, any NDA on Wyatt, Isenberg and Co. can be lifted and we'll at least be able to hear about what might have come next. Plot threads, characters - I'd love to at least get some notion of where they might have gone beyond Season 3.
They should at least give us a DTV or comic to fully wrap everything up. At last, poor Animated, it's last season was almost perfect and it got canned by many factors.
They better still be releasing Arcee at least. The rest of the rumored toys haven't seen daylight, so I can easily pass on them, but you can't show me how awesome the Arcee toy is and then say "lol, can't have it."
I thought so good to have confirmation. At least we got a good episode to end the series and a good season.
Is the Hasbro panel tomorrow or Sunday? I want Arcee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and Rodimus and Blackout and Wingblade Prime. Man, that better be the first question.
