Not sure if this has been brought up, but if you watch the clips here.... Shout! Factory Store ...and click the "Show Program Listing" icon, you can preview some clips from the show including a minute long spot. What troubles me is that it has the Rhino audio on it. Now, they could have slapped this together prior to the use of the original mono track, but I'm hoping that we get what was promised. I'd hate to see this set ruined by the use of the butchered Rhino audio. Also, if you watch the clip from S.O.S. Dinobots, it uses the clip of Ratchet talking while we hear Wheeljack's voice...something I think was corrected prior to broadcast. Please, for the love of humanity, use the right audio!!!
I'm pretty sure they promised not to use the Rhino audio tracks, so this is probably just promotional stuff. Seeing how very few of the total buying populous will know what a "Rhino audio track" is, I doubt it's anything to get worked up about.
I actually have never seen the Rhino versions, so it's all good to me. Still holding out for the complete series box set though.
Actually they did use the right audio. This was an error that would have to be reanimated to correct. I'm not sure if this was the Rhino audio though.
Watch the minute long commercial...that Boom from the intro music is in there which wasn't part of the original audio. And if you listen to the blasts through the various clips, they are enhanced. I'm sure of it. Much louder and "out of place".
Yeah, that's the Rhino audio on there, all right... the "boom" in the music is distinctive, but for me, the identifier is that ear-grating "vip-vip-vip" of the jets' blasts strafing Wheeljack in the MTMTEpt3 clip. I imagine this is something they've put together before the new audio track was created, though. Hopefully. I mean, they're very aware of the fact that the audio is screwed up, so I doubt they won't change it. (That Wheeljack/Ratchet SOS Dinobots errors was in the broadcast version, tho.)
If the error was there in the broadcast...then I guess it stays...but not the "enhanced" audio....that should have been trashed a long time ago!!!
