    I've got a few.
Dinobots: fansproject or planet x. About ultra class sized, can still be found

Cassette bot: the MP cassettes work well, a bit taller than a legion, they actually look good. (Ravage, laserbeak, rumble, frenzy, buzzsaw, ratbat)
TR legends and Titan Masters. A little big according to the scale chart but reasonable(rewind, rumble, frenzy, laserbeak, buzzsaw, ramhorn, overload)
FoC Data discs. Legion sized but not poseable at all. Probably the most complete roster.(Steeljaw, ramhorn, eject, rewind, rumble, frenzy, ratbat, laserbeak, buzzsaw, ravage)

Pipes and Huffer: CW had a release for both. Great mold too even if they both look like Optimus knock offs now

MFT has a great offering for them too

Rodimus prime: the potp inner robot is basically in scale. I personally use the MP28

I haven’t tried comparing mine but it’s cool to see mp8 still scales with Siege. I have the Zeta dinobots as the rest of the team

    If you say so... o_O

    PE Siege.jpg

Perfect Effect's cassettes work much better for me... and look like they could actually fit in Soundwave's chest, you know?

Masterpiece MP-28 works better than POTP Rodimus, but he looks too much like Hot Rod (and awkwardly-proportioned, to boot). FansToys "Hoodlum" (with alternate face) is the perfect CHUG Rodimus:

I'd love to see how they scale with MP Grimlock in their robot modes... I can find precious little info comparing Zeta's "Dinokong" figures with other third-party Dinobots, much less official HasTak releases. o_O

Hello all. I appreciate it has been a while since somebody last post to this thread.

Just carrying on where someone last commented on getting dinobots in robot form to scale with siege/chug collection my recommendation would be G-Creations shuraking set. Individually in both robot and alt modes are great and always the option to put them in combined mode.

I’ve attached some photos of G-Creation Growl (Snarl) with some of the collection I have. I think the g-creation works better than the POTP dinobots which I think their robot forms are too small.

I would add that I think the Siege OP is slightly too short in robot mode. I opted for KBB Kubiabao MP10 V Optimus Prime which is circa 7.4 inches tall. Actually a voyager scale masterpiece. Better quality with die cast.

Does anyone have any comparisons between Siege Megatron and the POTP individual Predacons?

I totally forgot the acronym CHUG, it sounds so silly. Still use the name Classics/Henkei

This remember me the glory days of Henkei, the old glory days of Takara!

There is not a single third party figure listed there. Why do all the diaclaimers on third party being in red if you havent even touched on a third party figure

Out of curiosity, the original post states that this scale list is based on Siege scale and Sunbow scale, which as someone else here pointed out is inaccurate. By Sunbow metrics, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Omega Supreme, and CW Devastator should be ever so slightly taller, like maybe a centimeter or so. Omega and Devy are tall enough that I'm pretty sure there's enough wiggle room to keep them in scale without changes, but would Titans Return Megatron and CW Optimus be better for a Sunbow scale chart as a result, since they scale better with the majority of the other figures (The "smaller" Autobot cars like Prowl or Hound, Netflix Bee and ER Cliffjumper, etc.) Just a suggestion. Also, if we keep the Siege/ER versions of OP and Megs, the POTP/TR minibots might be good to add, they're in pretty good Sunbow scale with Siege OP and Megs for the most part. Again, just a suggestion.

I'd love to see this thread be updated!
I somehow keep returning to it from Google search results.

I'm trying to figure out which combiners work best for Siege Scale, I've compiled the following list. Based on the Sunbow scale chart, I feel like the 17–18" range is likely the most appropriate for Combiners.
I *think* the 24" Omega Supreme's head reaches up to 19", so keeping the Combiners 1" under that makes sense to me. (Assuming these numbers are right)

Extra Large (Masterpiece?) – Anything 20" and up
    • Predaking – N/A
    • Devastator – 20" – ToyWorld Constructor
    • Superion – 22" – Zeta ZB Kronos / FansToys Ethereon
    • Bruticus – 22" – UniqueToys Ragnaros
    • Computron – N/A
    • Menasor – 19.3+" – XTransbots Monolith / Roadking
    • Defensor – 20" – XTransbots Guardia

    Large: 17.3"–18" (17.6" Average)
    • Predaking – 17.3" – Jinbao Feral Rex OSKO
    • Devastator – 17.7" – Jinbao Gravity Builder OSKO
    • Superion – 18" – JuiJiang OSKO (Hasbro CW)
    • Bruticus – 17.5" – Jinbao Warbotron OSKO / Assaultus
    • Computron – N/A
    • Menasor – N/A
    • Defensor – N/A

    Medium: 14"–15" (14.7" Average)
    • Predaking – N/A
    • Devastator – 15" – Generation Toys Gravity Builder
    • Superion – 14" – TFC Uranos
    • Bruticus – 14.5" – Warbotron WB-01
    • Computron – 15" –Warbotron WB-03
    • Menasor – 14.5" – TFM Havoc (or FP Intimidator - 14")
    • Defensor – 15" – Generation toys Guardian

    Small (Legends?): 11”–12.6" (11.8" Average)
    • Predaking – 12.5" – MMC Feral Rex / Warlord / Ares
    • Devastator – 12.6" – TFC Hercules / KBB Hasbro KO
    • Superion – 11" – Hasbro CW
    • Bruticus – 12" – Hasbro CW / Energon+FP+SF Kits
    • Computron – 11" – Takara Unite Warriors / Quantron
    • Menasor – 11.5" – Hasbro CW
    • Defensor – 12" – MakeToys Guardia

Since getting back into collecting this was one aspect I was trying to get my head around. Siege brought me back into TF collecting.

An absolute mind field trying to pick and mix from the various figures out there to meet such scale needs.

I would add there is no right or wrong way to collecting. For some toon accuracy is preferred. Others prefer a toy vibe. Perhaps a combination. Some like how some figures are and buy across the various lines/scales. On the scale front, some prefer alt mode to be the bench mark rather than bot heights. Certainly for MPM and studio line collections.

The main issue for me is that Siege Jetfire is 11-12 inches tall in bot mode. That impacts greatly on all the combiners done by Takara and Unite Warrior. I don’t have a problem with Siege Jetfire’s height but it makes those combiners that have been done before, too short. The exception being Devastator coming in at 18 inches tall. So the majority of the combiners are circa 11-12 inches tall which can be boosted by another 1/2 to 1 inch with upgrade kits. Still too short. You have these under the ‘small’ heading. They are not legends scale (one voyager and the rest deluxes). Devastator made up of 6 voyagers. I would say they would work better with Legends and Legends + scale if the combiner remains in combined mode.

Some of the third parties you have referenced upped the heights of their combiners to the 14-15 inch territory. This certainly IMO works better but I think they are still too short.

I actually came to the conclusion that the 18-20 inch height for combiners would work better for me plus give me flexibility to have with MP figures should my collection go in another direction.

With hindsight I actually think I would have done things differently and collected Legends and Legends + with the takara/Unite Warrior combiners. If you want combiner teams in their individual bot modes then I’d likely get a legend version of it for that purpose. Siege Omega might not work so a downsize of this would be required with legends/legends +. The other titans would work.

Below are a number of photos of figures I have showing how they scale with each other in bot/combined mode. The first photo really demonstrates the disparity between Siege Jetfire and Unite Warrior Superion:

Overlord is suppose to be bigger than Jetfire. TR Overlord next to Siege Jetfire and with FH Double Evil. Overlord should be in the smaller combiner territory. TR Overlord could work with a legends (+) scale collection

    My combiners are:

    * Jinbao OS KO Grav Builder (leg ext)
    * XTB Monolith (Menasor)
    * Jinbao OS KO Warbotron (Bruticus). Currently upgrading it to meet same height requirement and less stylised
    * XTB Defensor - waiting for further releases of limb bots
    * Zeta Superitron (selling Jujiang set)

    Titans:

    * DX9 Gabriel (Omega Supreme)
    * ER Scorponok (leg ext ordered)
    * TR Fort Max
    * TR Trypticon
I have Siege Omega and will be interested to see if any companies come out with a leg extension like they have done for ER Scorpy.

    Very insightful and helpful.

Haha. Not in this thread have you imparted any pearls of wisdom on your perfect sense of scale. Do enlighten us mere mortals who do not have the ability to read your mind :D  or the inclination to hunt down all your posts where you have clarified this.

I went back and added my "Extra Large" set to my list above. I also have one for Extra Small, but who cares?

You're aware that we're never going to truly get accurately scaled figures. I'm not sure if Hasbro has some sort of logarithmic scaling factor that has been decided on for the characters at the larger end of the spectrum.
I'm guessing they just have classes, partially based on size, partially based on production costs and materials. Maybe have an inch or two set between them
Voyager < Leader < Commander < Combiner < Spacecraft Titans < City Titans < Planets

    Siege/Earthrise/etc. Figures for Comparison:
    • Planet Size:
~ HasLab Unicron: 27" to top of head
    • City-Base Titans
~ Hasbro Metroplex: 24" to top of head
~ Hasbro Trypticon: 18" to top of head
    • Spacecraft Titans:
    ~ Hasbro Omega Supreme: 19.5" head (?), 24" overall
~ Hasbro Autobot Ark: 19" (top of head)
    • Combiners:
    ~ [ * ideally between 15–18" * ]
    • Tallest Commander/Leader Class:
    ~ [ *Broadside: 13–14" Tall * ]
    ~ Jetfire: 12" Tall

No, broadside doesn't exist yet, and he may never exist, but if he ever does get made, he will likely be Commander class, and taller than Jetfire. But who knows...

But based on that, Combiners need to be taller than Broadside and shorter than Omega Supreme.

    ANYWAYS. Discussion b.s. aside...
Words don't matter here, and how I have them grouped is also irrelevant. What does matter is numbers.

You've got a good collection. Could you hit me up with pictures of each and every one of your tall figures next to a measuring tape?
That would be most helpful, I even have a thread specifically for this that I made last night.
I'd appreciate your help documenting everything with photos.
