Comparison photo request - U Starscream

    Hi there,

    A quick request for a comparison pics of Universe Classics Starscream (the repaint of the first Classics Screamer) and Henkei Starscream.

    I've got U Starscream MOSC here, and I was going to keep him that way until I get Henkei Ghost Starscream later in the year. But I've just come across Henkei Starscream which I bought as well. That one is still in Japan, and I probably won't have him in hand for another 2 weeks or so.

    They look similar enough in a separate pictures I've seen, and I'm wondering if it's worth keeping both.

    I have both, the Henkei one looks more detailed and is actually grey, while the Universe one looks more like his cartoon counterpart and has this bone white color. Both are great, but I like the Henkei one more for displaying, and the universe one to mess with.

    Thank you for the reply. So Henkei is greyer than this...

    I have the original Classics Starscream, too, and I must confess I'm not a big enough fan of the mould to keep 4 (and Ramjet). One of them have to go, I guess.

    My advice to you is wait for the Henkei to arrive and put them both side by side. Then you will be able to see which one suits you better. Personaly, I would go with Universe SS, but mine has some "looser" joints than the classics, so I was delibareting about both figures for quite some time before I decided that Universe SS looks (much) cooler and put him into the display case.

    Well hell, looks like I'm gonna be going out and getting Univers SS now. I never paid any attention to him before because I have the original Classics version but I like the paint apps on the Universe version better (more gee-won-ey)

    Thanks, juice! Your pic reminded me why I don't look at my original Classics Starscream. His face has very bad paint apps.

    I'm leaning toward Universe one. Henkei one looks a bit too much in robot mode in comparison. Or maybe because Universe one's right here right now and I can open him :lol  I like "25 Years" print on the package, but I can't keep a sealed toy and the art isn't worth keeping. I should have stuck with this one and saved money. Bad impulse buy :(
