Also the launchers are different then the G1, so you cannot just get the g1 missiles and replace it. It won't work. You can easily mod them using a razon blade and some super glue. They will fire better then G1 then.

For the smoke stacks, they are easily replaceable with larger stacks. They are sold on eBay and are perfect.

I am sure there are other small differences.

considering you can get a complete g1 for a portion of the cost without the safety add ons, why bother?

LMAO, I got this figure, but never touched the missiles. I might check mine now. lol

They completely chop off the smokestacks, but extend the missiles and not to mention they are actually a seperate object, so a kid could 'accidentally' swallow the missile and then the missile could snap in two whilst in the childs mouth causing big problems....Hasbro really are funny at times.

He still seems pretty dangerous to me. They probably should have replaced the die cast with foam rubber.

The "threat" with the smokestacks is that they could poke eyes and such.

The missiles are lengthened to prevent swallowing. And it's hard enough to break a missile in half with your hands. I don't see it happening inside anyone's mouth.

won't the kids use the lengthened ends of the smokestacks to poke their eyes out?
