im pretty sure this has been done before. i recently got a shadow commander set ( i love it) and i was curious about what peoples favorite color scheme is.


MY ORDER
1. Shadow
2. City
3. and 4. henkei and powered imho are really lame looking, look sloppy, and little detail and OP doesnt need it to be badass.

i dont own any but shadow. so give your opinions on your favorite and plz tell why.

im not sure if henkei set is released. ive only seen pictures.

is the satisfaction of having a legit UM really worth all that extra cash?

 

I think most people that have the City Commander set got him Pre-ordered, or at launch (atleast I did).

Me too, or I got mine soon as I saw an extensive gallery. Unlike the other higher priced figures (atleast with my budget) that I have bought, City was the only one that I never had any second doubts on when ordering. Yea I like my seekers and MP Grimlock, but there was still that moment of hesitation with the price. But City Commander is fantastic in every way. I still need to get myself Shaddow Commander, but that is a ways down the list right now.

 

I pre-ordered my city commander as soon as it was up on bbts. If you try to get it now, it will cost you insane amounts of money. I pre-ordered the shadow commander too, but canceled my order before it came in. Seems there's still quite a few around, so I may pick it up eventually too. But I don't think powered commander is worth the $300 or more.

 

Extra cash?

I paid retail for my City Commander(and my classics Ultra Magnus).

Pre-ordered CC about 10 minutes after it went up on BBTS.

 

I waited a long time before buying City Commander because I was dubious about the quality. In the end I payed more than A$300 by the time it was delivered. I also have a Shadow commander but the CC is best. for me it is worth every cent because it is the only good looking Ultra Magnus in the G1 style and is absolutely bad-ass.

If I had the money I would buy another one with no hesitation.

 

I bought the CC set because I wanted my Magnus to be something besides a White Prime. Something to help him stand out as a different character while still appearing true to his G1 Roots.

This is, coincidentally, the same reason I have not bought any of the other color variants.

Nemesis Prime gets a BTS trailer, and Optimus gets the G3 when it comes out.
Each one has a unique accessory to help them stand apart, and that is enough for me.
