I'm trying to cut back on my comics. I'm at the place with comics where I was with music. I buy indy stuff, since they actually need my $$. I buy my favorite creators on projects that I have to own. (Dini on Detective. Morrison on Superman. Etc.) And then I just d/l the rest. Now that Marvel regularly charges 3.50 for a 32-page comic, I officially don't care if it's illegal to d/l them anymore. ALL-STAR COMICS ARCHIVES #0 $39.99 At very long last, the first two issues of All-Star Comics. The two that pre-date the introduction to the JSA in ish #3. AQUAMAN SWORD OF ATLANTIS #40 $2.99 Gotta check out Guice's art in person before I decide what to do with this. Kurt's work is iffy with me. Sometimes great, sometimes bland. But worth a look. DETECTIVE COMICS #817 $2.50 JONAH HEX #5 $2.99 JSA #83 $2.50 I subscribe to these SPIDER-GIRL #96 $2.99 Only five more issues to go before it's over. ULTIMATES 2 #10 $2.99 Only three more issues of this. SUPERMAN ADVENTURES VOL 3 LAST SON OF KRYPTON $6.99 SUPERMAN ADVENTURES VOL 4 THE MAN OF STEEL $6.99 FELL 3RD PRTG #1 (PP #704) $1.99 FELL 3RD PRTG #2 (PP #704) $1.99 I have the original material here, but if anyone wants REALLY great comics, I would highly recommend each of these. The Superman digests reprint Mark Millar's run on the DCAU comic. Yeah. THAT Millar. Fell is by Warren Ellis. Every issue is a complete story and it's only two bucks.

CITY OF HEROES #11 $2.99 AMAZING FANTASY #18 $2.99 MS MARVEL #1 $2.99 ULTIMATES 2 #10 $2.99 INFINITE CRISIS #5 (OF 7) $3.99 CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLDIER VOL 1 TP $16.99 SENTINEL #5 (OF 5) $2.99 MARVEL ZOMBIES #4 (OF 5) Thats a damn fine week of funnybooks right there.
And I got this one today. I keep getting Hex a day or two before LCS get them. I'm not sure how. Maybe there's only three subscribers and it's easy to process? I dunno. the "nuns with guns" story apparently got bumped to next month's issue. Tony Dezuniga did the fill in art here. It's a pretty radical change from Luke Ross' style, but it's the return of Hex's original artist, so they'll get no beef from me.
