    Something I have wanted to do for a very long time and from my own collection, comic style Grimlock. I took the "cartoon" style I did waaay back in the day by working with all flats, and then straight did airbrushing "comic" style ink/paint work.Basing the flat yellow then working with transparent sepia and transparent orange to create the shading. I wanted Grimmy to look like he just jumped out of a comic or anime. I approached this like I would a mural, keeping my light source one direction as apposed to just a bunch of random shadows and highlights. Then "sketched" the edges to add a distinct feel to it.

    Very pretty. It would be interesting to see how this style of painting would look on Borderlands figures, as this Grimlock reminds me very much of the video game's aesthetic.

    Ok, was looking at the rear shot of the figure, and just looking at the leg, it really does look drawn... Crazy awesomeness, encline. Great work, man.
