You need to read the Marvel UK stuff... it's some of the best, and most brutal, fiction out there. The UK team weren't beholden to the same rules that the US were, so for the characters they had use of, they had carte blanche to bump them off if it fit the storyline... and often did... horrifically.

I can see why from an aesthetic standpoint, but Xaaron is supposed to be considerably shorter than Impactor, so the Refraktor mold works quite well in that regard.

These are pretty ugly figures. I'm happy for those that are interested in them but this is a definite pass for me.

I love this reveal! I have wanted a Xaaron figure since the character first appeared in the US Marvel comic. Flame is pretty cool too. I do kinda get a Lost Light Rodimus vibe from Flame, and I wonder if he is “close enough” to be used as such in my collection considering that I doubt Hasbro will ever get around to making one (though I guess we really never can say never anymore …).

Interested in Xaaron, he was always a fun character who got overlooked in later media, but Flame was for me such a deep cut that it was like a tickle in the back of my brain that I knew I'd seen the character before, but in what story and what he did, I couldn't recall and ended up looking him up.

I'll pass on them for now, mostly to save on finances this quarter with so much product lately and upcoming, and I have a feeling that this won't sell out so I can comfortably get it later during a Pulse sale.

God I hope these sell well enough to keep justifying figures of other ancient comic-only characters. Give me more!

.... uh.... Surely, this panel has already been mocked, at length.

The comics were inconsistent. In later issues he was the same size as everyone else.

An exciting surprise! Xxaron could have been done better, but I'm going to go against the grain and say Flame is spot on. Apart from The Motormaster, this is the most uncompromised excitement I've felt from these reveals.

I have been silent on new figures for a while, but that flame is a nice use of the wfc megatron mold

Jeff Anderson drew everyone the same size. Everyone. You can't look to his art to determine relative size.

I instantly believed it, because it seems that so many things my monkey brain wants to register as "new" are now decades old.

The Real Slim Shady? Came out 24 years ago.

Ross and Rachel's baby (Emma) in the last Season of Friends? She's 21 now.

Jurassic Park is 30 years old.

The lead singer of The Bangles is 65.

The first Harry Potter movie came out 23 years ago. Daniel Radcliffe is 34.

    Damn.

I love that this is happening, and I'm gonna buy it, but I must confess I don't love the look of Xaaron. Honestly, he's the one character I'd be fine with them just doing as a non-transforming figure, especially if it meant we could get him fully painted so that he could be gold.

Flame on the other hand looks absolutely incredible. As an American I only encountered him as an adult, but still, it's a fun story, and comic-only characters get purchased in this house.

As a Marvel UK fan this is an absolute no brainer for me. Finally after all these years we are getting official releases of emirate xarron underground resistance leader and flame mad scientist.

    Unbelievable. Long long overdue

And a 3rd bot kinda goes with them too. Comic book impactor which I have.
