Just a quick question. So the 3 bikes do combine together, just not in the film right? But has their been any indication that chormia and arcee can combine at all or is the elusive third bike going to be the peice that completes the puzzle?
I think it's said that the third bike is a Chromia repaint. So you probably just need an Arcee and 2 Chromias
apparently so but it wont be in the film. Frankly I'm interested in this combo since the Arcee sold on her own and the arcee sold with the human alliance skids toy seem to differ a fair bit but since none of the bike girls so far have combination instructions I wonder who combines with who? I'd take a guess at just the ones sold on their own but you never know
Yes, I think so too. As soon as somebody can get his hands on Arcee, I think we can start figuring out how to combine them. There's the slight chance the third bike is remolded slightly to allow different connection parts, but at least we will be able to determine how Arcee and Chromia fit (and probably more than that). If the bot is almost identical to Chromia, chance is big their forms are symmetrical (both a leg/both an arm/both an arm+leg)
I have been thinking about this recently, but I am very surprised how Hasbro has not played up the combination aspect of these figures. There has been nothing listed in the packaging or their bio to indicate anything is happening. You would think that they would have thrown that out there just so Average Joe would start collecting the figures now, seeing as how they are in separate waves.
They are re-releasing Arcee deluxe for ROTF I hope. I never bought one from the original movie & one of my main reasons for buying Chromia was the rumored combined-mode. Anyone confirm if they are re-releasing her?
Yeah, that is pretty weird. Probably by the time the third bike hits, the previous two will be gone or incredibly hard to find. If it weren't for the combination, I probably would not have though about buying the bikes..but now I know and I will buy all three. I can imagine other (less informed) people could/would do the same... The Arcee from ROTF is totally different from the movie1 Arcee. So no worries, she is in a future wave and you will be able to buy her. You don't need the original Arcee (although I think it's a sweet figure).
It is sad the thrid bike is a repaint of the first, but someone should pickup 2 Chromas and once we get arcee see if they can put her together.
Im going to pick up Chromia this week. Maybe having the toy in-hand will shed some light on this. I like the little stand that comes with it. Nice touch.

Im thinking maybe the 3rd bike is a reverse mold of chromia and the combine symetrically (may explain the BFG arm) with arcee as the torso/head. And maybe the accessories double as gestalt feet.
I picked up a Scout Class Knock Out today and on his bio it says that "His highest ambition is to be the leader of a special combat team, and to get the combination retrofit everyone has been talking about." Could this be the 3rd figure?
lol No, I seriously doubt that. The third figure will likely be the same size class as the other two. (Deluxe.)
I should have worded that differently. I knew it as soon as I submitted it. I should have said character instead of figure. Is there a possibility that they would make him in a deluxe class?
Nah, I believe all 3 of the main bikes are fem-bots. Also they are all uni-wheeled. Or at least that's the way their character designs appeared in the last issue of the Alliance comic. Also I think the third one is ment to be purple.
Ok, here was the quotes from the panel coverage: Sounds like a retool to me. That surprises me. I would have thought that'd be in the movie. Well at least the toys can do it. Here's hoping it's good.
Hasbro said in the panel the 3rd cycle is gonna be a repaint but assembled differently, i.e. like Uni Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.
