This is the first time I've seen any of them listed anywhere, so I thought it was worth a post.

Protectobots (and Cyclonus, Warpath, and Viper) preordered!

....is it April yet?

 

Are they really going to pump out 3 waves in four months? What are they going to do for the rest of the year? D:

 

I would consider pre-ordering...but with the stupid ass exchange rate I'll probably either get the Takara ones or just wait for Canadian retailers to get these.

This is the first look we've seen of Defensor without the stupid Groove chest piece, isn't it? It looks pretty good that way.

 

Wish viper had a solo listing

 

Awesome! I got the full set from Robot Kingdom, but I want another First Aid, so BBTS for him!

 

Pre-ordered...all but T'cracker 'n Silclonus...

 

Got all but Thundercracker

 

Viper will have a case of 8 (of only him) a few months after his release, so don't overpay early.

 

That sure is a fast turnaround, yeah.

Though keep in mind the Stunticons were probably meant to have hit stores by now if it weren't for the dock strikes - Hasbro isn't gonna interrupt production schedules due to product sitting around due to events outside of their control.

 

Got the Protectobots, Hot Spot, Cyclonus, and Groove for now. Waiting for the Stunticon limbs then I can hit ship for this PoL from BBTS. Now I want to see Pre-Orders for Ultra Magnus and Devistator and then I will be good no matter what they decide to put out the rest of the year.

Now if we could get the stores to smarten up and dump all the AOE junk from the shelves so this stuff would start showing up in stores more readily. I have seen the RID series and the legends class in store so far between my 2 TRU and all the local retailers. The AOE stuff is still cluttering shelves and it seems to be making my stores not want to stock the CW or RID stuff at all.

 

I think new product hasn't hit as well in part because it's all been held up on the west coast for weeks.

So rather than clearing stuff out to make room for new stuff, stores want to have SOMETHING on shelves.

 

Ordered Defensor, Cyclonus, Warpath, Groove - no interest in the cobra homage.

Ordered two extras of Rook for a planned 'Combiner Wars' custom

 

So do you guys think it's a pretty safe bet Takara will give us a Defensor set as they have with Superion? Or is that a bet not worth taking for fear of missing these? I'm really hoping for a more G1 deco and a functional Groove arm from Takara, but if there's a chance that won't happen, I don't want to miss this as Defensor is the only CW other than Devy I plan to preorder.

Thoughts? Predictions?
