Considering the Combiner Wars Deluxes are $59 a piece in Sweden I don't see this as very surprising. You can't possibly move those units.

I got an email a while back from Toys R Us (UK) stating that we'd get Combiner Wars waves 2 and 3 in July. I'm guessing wave 2 hadn't been officially cancelled at the time.

Still, it is quite disappointing. Going by past experience we'll probably be missing a few more waves with this toyline.

I know that there are online retail options for collectors to purchase from, but my condolences to everyone this affects for not being able to purchase them directly in stores. I know I would find that lack of option rather frustrating.

Hopefully Kapow and Masterforce are sitting on, or can readily get their hands on, enough stock to keep providing to people who need these to complete their gestalts.

Well you could just settle for both AB and Slingshot on Superion right?

    Sorry UK.

This is why even here in the US I will only ship online... have been for quite some time now... even around my parts, Combiner Wars barely sees any stock, which is sad for fans...

Well I'm not against buying from on line, but buying one figure at a time whilst I'm doing my grocery shopping eases the guilt of spending on transformers when your on a budget. Oh, and I'm not getting the Hasbro protectorbots till we have more info on takaras version and if Hasbro will release the deluxe groove.

We would still have to buy quickslinger/slingshot from an online retailer, might as well buy airraid while your there:)

For what it's worth, I still haven't seen any Wave 2 figs where I live in the states, ended up getting them from Hasbro Toy Shop.

Well at least th excuse wasn't they wouldn't be recognizable like they said about Prowl in Alternators.

Now watch the UK get Deluxe Groove or something random we don't get in the US.

As good an idea as online purchasing is, wave 2 is all sold out on Kapow. Has been for over a month. As someone else also said, collecting them one by one to offset the cost isn't possible on sites like Kapow due to how quickly they sell (plus £3 something per purchase)

Not everybody has money to just drop on a whole set of figures the minute they hit pre-order :(

I'd just purchased Star Saber. Waiting a month or 2 then slowly collecting wave 2 from store pegs would have been a nice opportunity. Now I'll end up with mostly non of wave 2 or spend double on ebay. That doesn't help me and it doesn't help Hasbro.

When they do officially reveal the Optimus Maximus, Combaticon and Technobot teams, I'll be wondering if we're actually going to get them in the UK. Also, considering Arcee, Chromia or Windblade have yet to make an appearance around here, Victorion might not make it, either.

Anyone else looking forward to Botcon?

Did the early arrival of WV1 and the type of line that this is have people expecting a change from what has been par the course for the last decade or so?

I wonder in certain markets if they aren't going to release products there they even waste their time have a presence there.
