I just recieved my Motormaster from BBTS. What a difference a new head and slight mold modifications make. CW Prime is complete garbage when compared to this toy. I can't wait to get the rest of the stunticons.

When I came up with that high shoulder configuration, I knew it would help. But I had no idea it would look so much better on Menasor than it did on Prime. It helps if you fold the hands back down over the combiner port. Being the same color as the arm behind them, they kinda blend in and just look like detailing.

Can anyone take some comparison shots with AOE Galvatron?

My Motormaster came in today along with Silverbolt. I now have a 4/5 done Superion and 2/5 done Menasor or as I will be calling them until the next wave comes in from BBTS, Superiherp and Menaderp. Menaderp looks reeeaaall goofy with only Dragstrip for an arm though I guess I could toss TC or Acis Storm onto his chest for S&Gs.

I really wish Hastak had done a bit more engineering on all the torsos to hide their hands, but c'est la vie.

Maybe someone could design a cover on shapeways to slot over the fists...

Literally the first post in this thread (the actual review) has him compared to the Classics Prime...

Thanks for all of the pictures. Surprisingly, I like Menasor's torso better closed than open with Blackjack.

I want him in-hand right now.

Blackjack doesn't matter anyway since he won't stay put in the chest :(

Blackjack actually stays on my prime better than Motormaster.

I really love that in the middle of his backflaps (the Menasor chest, closed), there are molded details to give the hint of the face of a truck. it's got the windshield, grill, headlights, the works.

Finally got mine and WOW this is a piece of CRAP. He's fine in robot and truck mode, but I can't get Menasor to stand up to save his life. Those hips that were too tight on Optimus Prime, are WAY too loose on this guy. I can't get him to stand up because the legs flop around like wet noodles. While Prime and Superion can be picked up and the legs stay where posed, this guy's legs fold like a 90 year old woman punched in the gut. Did I just get a lemon or are they all like this? Should I buy another when I find one in stores and return this one?

Sounds like you got a bad one man. I only have one limb (dragstrip) so far but when I stick him on in leg mode he stays in place fine.

I may take him apart tomorrow and add some floor polish to his hips and arms to see if I can tighten everything up. Compared to the Optimus, this guy if FLOPPY.

I had the same problem. Since I don't care to use Optimus as a torso, I swapped the springs in the hips of the two. Motormaster's hips are now super tight, while Optimus' are good for a stand-alone figure.

So there are springs in the legs? Awesome. I hope swapping the doesn't change the knees. That's the only thing that's better on Motormaster. His knees are tighter.

I didn't mess with the knees on either figure, only the hips. There are two screws at the top rear of each leg that hold the spring/ratchet assembly together. Remove both screws, swap the springs, and you're done. The springs are the only difference. They look like they're the same gauge, but I felt a slight but noticeable difference when squeezing them between my thumb and index finger.
