Hello! Thanks for checking my project out. Skywarp is one of my favorite G1 characters mostly because i always loved his color scheme and his O.P. super power, but i didn't really now moat of the other seekers besides the main 3, the cone heads and the rain makers. So when I started seeing pictures of this new netflix hotlink i was amazing with how cool he looked. I love the two different shades of purple. Im also pretty impatient and had a spare combiner wars skywarp i brought on clearance so i decided to try to paint him. Ive been lurking around this forum for years admiring the amazing work so thanks for the inspiration Like i said i wanted to go with the two tone purple of the new walmart exclusive The one major change i had to make was changing his orange accents to neon green. I just didn't have any orange paint. I also initially sealed him with a matte sealer thinking that would make him look more factory, but i really didn't like it so went back over him with a thin coat of clear glaze. Its not bad (but really shows off mistakes i made) and cuased me to dig out my KBB megatron to see how they looked next to each other: i really love the result and might try to hunt down a power of the primes hotrod unicronus to hit with a gloss coat and stand next to these two. Like all 3 have been corrupted by unicron. All in all i had a blast painting him and it wasnt too hard. Ill definitely be try other repaints Forgot to show his alt-mode. Not too different from skywarp, just more black and purple, less silver and orange canopy swapped for green
not bad for a first custom, I mean I've never posted a custom because I think my work is terrible so Im not sure how to rate a first custom, but I like it a lot
Nice job, for a first time. Looks like you've got some good skills for a beginner, meaning you'll only get better.
