Ok, version II shapeways kit tested and ready to go! I also applied G1 sticker set from toyhax - really like the outcome!

Vehicle mode. I managed to graft on an exposed engine using Sunstreaker's spare hand:

The hood can be removed, and I have sculpted a lot of details - suspension components - underneath:

Kind of kills the alt mode aesthetic, but the bot looks much better

    Love your work.

Can you remove half the chest then glue it as a faux chest? Then just leave the other 3D printed nosecone.

Tamiya TS-44 brilliant blue. A bit too dark but barely noticeable.

I think have Testors can thats the same color. Testors Bright Blue seems to be the same thing, its even a bit to dark.

Here's what could be a dumb question, but the wheels don't have a visible pin to sodder heat and remove, it seems like the axle is hidden under the hub cap...how do you get them off? From the underside there's a small opening.. do you make a tool and pry or what? I'm worried about breaking something.

p.s. is there a shoulder-mounted bazooka on shapeways? I was looking and didn't see one.
