Can't help but wonder though, would you actually consider selling this body as an upgrade kit?

More I look at it, the more tempting it feels

Yet at the same time, I'm struggling to figure out how Breakdown and Wildrider attach to the legs, and if swapping bots for limbs would be possible (I assume at least between Dead End and Wildrider.)

 

I'm sure if you keep thinking about it, you'll eventually figure it out. It's definitely not complicated. =)

As far as selling this design... no plans to do that. The only copy that will exist is in my own personal collection.

 

From what I can tell there's combo ports under the knee joints

Well that's pretty radical, I feel you on the CW Voyagers being kind of ehhh on torso. That looks super neat though, I like how cohesive the greebling looks with the CW deluxes.

 

Great work as always UZ. Looking at this, I feel like Hasbro should've just had the voyager come with a core piece to plug the voyager into that the other guys can plug into.

Any plans to make a better sword for him too? Even with the additional piece from PE, that stock sword is just kind of sad.

 

I thought about it after looking at my DX9 Menasor the other day. I'll probably do it at some point. Weapons are super easy to make.

I want a 3D printer so badly so I could make something like that that actually transforms. I'm not sure why 3rd parties haven't made a small trailer that could convert into a torso like that.

 

Bold Forms did, and it was hot garbage. I'm an industrial designer, not an engineer, so working on transforming stuff isn't my bag, although I've done it. It isn't fun for me and it forces compromises to the way I want things to look on my shelf. The only transforming TF project I'll be doing anytime soon is a Fort Max head to replace Cerebros. Outside of that, I'd only be interested in doing Robotech/Macross/Mospeada related transforming stuff.

The best part is now that I have a base design to build off of, I'll be using it to create torsos for all of the other combiners and revitalize my CW collection.

 

While I hate to pester, is it possible to see what it looks like with Drag Strip and Dead End as the legs, while Breakdown and Offroad are the arms?

 

Please, for the love of everything, make torso versions of Victorion/Megatronia, Liokaiser/Sky reign and Comic Galvatronus! I'd love you forever if you did those and sold them to me!!! You have NO idea how much I want these.
