A quick update, guys... I tried him out with the "Simple Version" Perfect Effect KO-style feet. What do you think? I also did some color mockups, which option do you think is best?
They all look great and have their own merits, but I think option 2 black hands with option 4 foot aesthetic would be great. (Possibly even solid black feet, or option 3 with the color aesthetic of option 4, depending on your preference and of course, the original look of the figure, which I have little knowledge of.) Looks fantastic though!
Seeing this... I'm kind of surprised no 3rd Party teased a Leozack/Jallguar duo set that could accomplish what you did, but with two slightly bigger deluxes to avoid the partsforming. Heck, I'm still hoping that maybe, just maybe, Takara hasn't given up on their Unite Warriors retools, and considered something along these lines to make a proper Leokaiser. Definitely dig how the six bots look as individuals. I also wouldn't be surprised if you inspire others to take this idea and make their own bot.
WOW this is absolutely incredible!!! I'm currently in the process of making my own CW custom Liokaiser so mad respect to you for getting to the finish line. As for the options, I'd vote for Option 4! By the way, would you be willing to share the STL files for the custom parts you made? If not, that's totally cool but I figured I should ask since this is what I'd like my Liokaiser to look like. lol. Again, awesome awesome work!!!
After seeing this, it's given me the motive to get off my lazy butt and finish my own Liokaiser. Congrats on an amazing custom!
I think the black hands and feet from Option 4 work best. Personally I would just use the Defensor colors which I believe has red accents on the black feet. Also, some things to consider adding for Killbison and Drillhorn to further enhance the look. The only thing off about it is that Leozack's blue is a little to dark, other than that you did a great job!
