Did not expect to see in-hand photos so soon. Looks good.

 

Looking good. If I could afford it I would get it. Only complaint is Deathsaurus but oh well the rest of the set looks amazing.

 

I hope we get word on Takara's before it's too late to pre-order this one. I like it, but if there's a chance we could get a two-bot torso from Unite Warriors I have to take it.

That said, I would likely still be in the market for that Dezaurus. I know it's not accurate to his original character, but it looks cool as a torso.

 

Oh I am so getting that.

I think the big hope is for UW Liokaiser to be previewed with Lynxmaster at the end of October. As long as EE sticks with early November for the release date (w/no pre-order), then there's a chance everyone will be making semi-informed decisions.

Dezarus looks surprisingly good in those pics - I'll be happy to double dip and have a version of him (until or unless he comes out in PW3).

I dig that you can fanmode Deszaras into being more like his G1 self. It's a way to make him different from Sky Lynx. Hope this means we'll see reviews of the set soon.

 

Having already bought TFCs Liokaiser and thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought I could happily skip this set. Those new headsculpts though, I might have to cave to display these guys in individual modes.
Fingers crossed Takara goes crazy and does either voyager Leozack and a Legends Jaguar or two new deluxes to form a new chest.

 

That set is a mess. The combiner head looks especially bad here. It looks like a bad custom.

I have to agree. The combined head is bad and dat tail kibble. I suppose it kind of resembles Liokaiser if someone told me thats who it was and I squint, but overall its a miss in my book. Also I think Skylynx was a pretty terrible mold for the torso. The limb bots look ok though.

 

Wow, that was fast. Takara will have their work cut out for them if they intend to make Leozack and Jallguar.

 

It should look nice for the price tag of $130

 

I am excited for this set, but I am totally repurposing Deathsaurus as Thunder Arrow and coming up with just about any fiction to justify it.

Maybe post Victory, instead of LioKaiser buying it, only Leozack and Jallguar do and what's left of the Thunder Arrow is converted into the torso? I don't know. I just can't see myself ever wanting that as Deathsaurus.

I'm not holding out a lot of hope that UW will be different. Victory may be mega-popular over there, but Takara still has to work within a set budget.

 

Unite Warriors has done some weird stuff, they could say Unicron fused Jarugar and Leozack with Deathsaurus to form the torso. (That's how we got Grand Galvatron)

But they also could do Liokaiser with two bots as a torso and make it a TT Mail exclusive to try and recoup the cost (and limit the number they'd need to make).
