So I was commissioned to do a Grapple from a CW Hotspot. I added styrene to the ladder to make it look like a boom arm for a cherry picker crane. The torso mode is based on Energon Roadblock hence the brown details. Head and chest came from Steam Shield's Bot Foundry on Shapeways which were provided by the commissioner. This is amazing! Is there any way to add a hook to the boom? As amazing as it looks, it feels wrong without the hook. I'm looking at thi and totally want to amke one, not as a Grapple, but as a Cybertronian Erector. But that hook is really needed. Suggestions?
This is a great custom, and I'm glad someone commissioned it because I'm bummed neither Hasbro nor Takara tackled it. Are you still doing commissions? Because I've been looking for someone to turn an Inferno/Hot Spot in to CW Erector.
That looks awesome. I really hoped they were going to make this officially, with the intention of turning him into the gobot Cranebrain.
Are you making a complete combiner out of him? Looking forward of how you would proceed (which limbs).
Looks like I already commented on this thread. Very nice because I JUST bought a second Combiner Wars Inferno not realizing I already had one. I guess I will do this.
