Mushroom pegs would've opened the door, never mind. I suppose if you did get the hands off and the pin it you could drill a 5mm hole through the wrist plate to peg in the PE hands.
Not a cheap figure to experiment on though. I think I'll be sticking with stock hands on this one.

I wasn’t satisfied with CW Devastator, so I’m making my own.

    Protectobots came to day.

    98% yay!

2% nay! One of Blades’s legs is so lose it falls off at the slightest adjustment. Anyone got a suggestion for a fix?

Is it a ball/socket joint that's the issue?

Then just the usual floor polish or some acrylic (paint) clear coat should do if it's just a bit loose.

The difficulty is to sort out if it's just loose and can be corrected via these methods or if it's a molding issue (badly shaped).. check for some flash (bits of plastic from production that is stuck in there). Could be that something is just a bit off and the fit isn't perfect.

Also: check for possible crack in the socket.

If just the floor polish and/or clear coat is not enough, one thing I've done for super-loose balljoints is to still use clear coat but add a layer of teflon tape (the white super thin plumber's tape used to seal hoses). Whatever you do, do not go with anything too thick as that will cause too much pressure and will cause the socket to break. Better to have patience and do multiple applications of the liquids. Note, apply the liquids on both parts (ball and inside the socket) and let it dry for 24 hours at least before popping them back together.

Couldn't find a perfect effect so tried out the SND Primo Vitalis kit and nabbed some matching limbs. Optimus maximus lives!
