Is the wide stance the only way to get them to stand properly with the TDW feet?

No, but I don't like the straight leg stance and feel like this is more dynamic. They stand fine on the TDW feet. :thumb

Got bored, was inspired by the lineup of the new Wreckers series to make my own Wreckage.

I consider myself lucky in getting Blast Off. I didn’t get him upon his initial release either unfortunately. But I just kept prowling eBay for the longest time and finally found a Buy It Now auction on him for $50 with free shipping, still MISB. That was a deal I could live with. Good luck in hopefully obtaining one some day.

My first complete combiner ever was G2 Devastator. I saved up and searched for months to track down all six members. I even remember begging my mom to please, please buy me at least one of the figures (which considering we always lived on a tight budget, she didn't have to but did. Love you, mom!). So naturally, when it came to the new Titan class that had debuted several years back, my first Titan was once again, Devastator.

Scavenger was my first of the Constructicons I ever got, and his Combiner Wars counterpart is a great update.

I've got him here with the Perfect Effects upgrade kit, which is my favorite of the upgrade kits for this guy. It makes his steamshovel look very intimidating and the color matching is practically perfect.

His robot mode is good. I love that it's very much in the spirit of the original Constructicons.

I think one thing most of us can agree, regardless of our feelings towards the overall figures, is that their head sculpts were beautifully done.

Time to crush some bones with Bonecrusher. DSC00623.JPG DSC00625.JPG DSC00627.JPG DSC00628.JPG

That's a powerful looking bulldozer there. The neon on these guys is so bright, I love it.

I do think Bonecrusher is easily the best looking of the Constructicons in robot mode. His proportions work. He doesn't have any large kibble hanging off him. He's got good all around posability. He's a solid figure.
    DSC00417.JPG DSC00416.JPG DSC00418.JPG

And of course, he's got a magnificent head sculpt. DSC00428.JPG

    Look at that jawline.

Hook is one fine looking crane.

As with the other Constructicons, I love the color on this guy. I don't use the crane extension from PE, since it adds too much length, but it is a nice upgrade in case anyone is wonder.

    That's smooth looking bot mode. DSC00446.JPG DSC00447.JPG DSC00448.JPG

The Perfect Effect guns are an incredible kit. The guns all look great and they're perfect (heh) upgrades of their G1 blasters.

As a kid, I always felt Hook had the best head sculpt, and that still remains true. DSC00433.JPG

Can’t pose worth a damn, but standing there looking formidable and imposing still counts for something, right?

Would Hasbro ever release this again? Maybe update it as a Generations Selects release.
