Basically the whole Thunder Mayhem combiner (got 2/5 parts)
And the Wreckage config with Toxi/Impactor/CP/BS/Fractyl (got 1/5 parts, with a 2nd en route)

Bonus points for equipped w/ PE kits; I have the G2 Menasor's purple diaper/corset ready for Toxie, personally

Fair enough, I'll just attach them. I happened to have the G2 corset lying around because I don't personally like the wide A stance it forces the combiners in to, so I didn't use it on my own G2 Menasor. First picture is without the corset, second picture is with. In both cases I am using the KO PC-09 Purple feet and an official PC-09 hand (the original combiner had a bright yellow hand but there's no easy way to do that).

One problem is that the design of the Toxitron (Motormaster mold) torso bot doesn't interact well with the Bluestreak (Streetwise mold) limb bot. The way you're supposed to put the arms up and at a slight inward angle causes them to hit the bulky shoulder parts. I couldn't find any obvious way to fix this; Bluestreak does make a perfectly serviceable leg for Wreckage, though, and it's possible that Counterpunch (Wheeljack mold) might make a better arm. Fractyl as an arm works as well, but then he has two blue legs and it just looks too symmetrical to me.

Also I seem to have left Fractyl's nosecone down in the photo I took of Wreckage with the corset on; I spent a lot of time with him in that configuration fighting to get him to stand (another reason I don't like it) and I must have just forgotten to flip it back up. His nosecone is correctly transformed in the non-corset photo.

If it matters to you, the purple on the corset isn't a perfect match for Toxitron's purple, but I think it looks fine since none of the colors on this combiner really match (and to be honest that's probably kind of the point). Impactor's purple has a bluer tone to it and Toxitron's has a redder tone, so honestly it sits right about in the middle.





Ran out of time today to get pictures of Thunder Mayhem since Wreckage fought me so much, but I'll try to get pictures of him as well later.

That Toxitron pack just had to sell out the day I could afford it.

 

This is by far my favourite part of Transformers ever. I wish there were many, many more combiners!

 

Funny that was the same thing my nephew said yesterday when he got his first combiner.
I ordered a WJ Oversized Defensor off ebay As soon as he opened it he was in love with Hot Spot and it wasn't till I started transforming the other four into bots that he got the idea of what was in his hands. Once Hot Spot was in robot mode, he didn't want to let go, we had to pry Hot Spot away from him to show him that Hot Spot got cooler then a fire truck that turns into a robot.

 

Still the best after all these years...

Still need to get an upgrade kit for mine. I'd also like to have a genuine Slingshot as opposed to the custom I'm currently using but still no way I'm paying that much for it.

 

I know its not a perfect option but there is the KO slingshot. The quality is on par with official and it is 1:1

 

there... I didn't know there was a KO. I've certainly never seen it. That could have saved me so much work...

 

Never mind. Sorry. Just checked sirtoys cuz i could have sworn i saw it but its not there. They have all of superion and even the funky colored one but they use alpha bravo instead of quickslinger/slingshot. Really sorry about that.

 

I'm using Alpha Bravo for the one I gave my daughter. She knows Superion primarily from the IDW comics anyway, so that's more meaningful. He's a good limb, and with him that's a really good combiner.

 

I relate to this so hard. My custom Slingshot using the Air Raid mold looks like poop.

 

Does anyone know if the KO OS BM grimlock uses the standard CW ports?

 

IIRC, I'm pretty sure it does, because some people were only using the OS torso with the Hasbro limbs.

Or I could be remembering something completely different.
