I have this kit installed on mine as well and really love it however I hate how easy the red paint comes off of the translucent blue pieces when transforming him. You run into this problem too?

I'm still a bit mad that ThinkGeek cancelled my order, even though my order and payment was processed before they sold out. :banghead:

Oh well, I'll get her eventually.

I haven't had paint rub issues yet, but I also only transformed him a few times. The wind vane backpack thing did stress out in the ports that go on the stock smokestacks.

You know, they're roughly 65 bucks on Amazon, that's really cheap for the set.

Just a thought... with the current cw starscream torso, the tfcc shattered glass starscream, the grand galvatron starscream, and the newly announced golden lagoon starscream... would anybody else like to see a black death starscream to complete a full starscream combiner?

Does anyone actually care for the CW Leader Seeker mold? I rarely see photos of them and have heard mostly negative things, but I like some aspects of its look, especially in jet mode.

If you like jetfire in that mold, you'll accept the leader seekers trio if you want them next to the likes of cw megs.

Other than that, they're a bit big for the limited articulation, hollowness and such... they're barely a step above cyber battalion figures.

I don't think they're bad, they're just the bottom of the option ladder for those characters.

I installed the Nonnef ratchets on mine. They don't help with the forward/backwards movement but make a huge difference horizontally and make the figure a ton better. I Don't know if they're still available, I bought a second set for when the Nova kit releases. But I can't recommend them enough if you can track a set down.

I installed 3 kits total (one for myself and two friends). Mine had one small scuff, (painted over it and then used floor polish to seal it. The second kit was fine but I sealed it immediately with no further issues. The third had quite a few scuffs right out of the box and needed some paint work as well.

I really like them for what they are, but in the grand scheme of my (and many others) collection, a leader class seeker doesn't really fit.

Wow, this kit is nuts! The box was surprisingly heavy and the parts seem to be very high quality. Excited to get it installed!

Thanks for the replies, I kind of figured they were as so-so in terms of build quality and articulation as they looked when compared with the other options, though I do like the character design and was considering buying one of the mold to differentiate my seekers in the hopes they were of the same quality as CW Armada Megatron (who is actually pretty damn great)... probably not, though. I've been trying to update my last two seekers for years now (still have foc Skywarp and Thundercracker+Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream, poor lonely MP-6), but haven't quite got up the gusto to get the other two MPs to go with ol' Skywarp. I have MMC Tyrantron and MP Soundwave as my current top Decepticons, they'd have to be at least close to as cool as those two.

That the Beelzeboss kit on the left one? I thought it sacked the combiner mode entirely. Also, still wish I could have gotten that Grand Scourge figure... so expensive to get now though.
