I hope you do. I paid way too much for him and Impactor. He's up on eBay for $200 right now which is pretty ridiculous and the cheapest I've seen him is when the TFCC closing sale was happening. He sold out pretty quickly at I believe 20% or 30% off.

Recently bought Cyclonus from Victorysabre and decided to get the stickers for it from Reprolabels. Brought it in to work and actually remembered to take a before pic before stickerin', heh:

I realize I'm totally humble bragging, but I love what I did with the Combaticons. As seen a couple pages back on 1613.
Brawl: Nothing, let's face it there was not much I could do.
Swindle: Gave him the BFG from one of the Leader Seekers, the missile even works as a mic for him
Vortex: Gave him the triple barrel shotgun from Streetwise (who ended up with a pistol from Chromia, seemed to fit a cop better)
Onslaught: Gave him the Swordgun from Breakdown (who got Sunstreaker's as it worked better with the BFS of Menasor)
BlastOff: Ended up with twin flamethrowers(had to return my 1st BlastOff) and a new head from a Firefly (who was being customed anyway)

which adds up to a knife and BFG w/ flamethrowers coming off it's sides for Bruticus

Yeah, you have to wonder what was going through Hasbro's mind with that choice for CW Brawl's colour. Was the intention to make it a more realistic deco? I guess, as we're often reminded, collectors that hark back to G1 aren't the primary market to consider.

Totally with you on this one. Jet's fine with me, but that fucking face! Urgh.

I've got the legend class Shockwave and, while I like the conceit, it doesn't quite feel right. Dude needs a big ol' rifle.

Don't think so. Still in the 'all but officially confirmed rumour' zone.

The Protectobots were my favourite of the 'Scramble City' combiners.
Partly it was me being contrary, as everyone seemed to think Superion was #1, partly it was because Groove and Streetwise had some of the best vehicle modes out of all the 'special team' limbs, and partly it was because Hotspot was one of the best looking 'bots around at the time. I still get that funny gut tug when I see them. So I'm a bit disappointed that the CW guys don't quite do it for me. Hostspot is still very cool looking, but weirdly the two that I thought were a bit crap when i was a kid are the two that look the best in their updated form; First Aid and Blades. In combined mode Hotspot makes a less well proportioned torso than Silver bolt, leaving Defensor looking a bit too chunk in his limbs.

^^^ You need a deluxe Groove, looks way better than Rook as a limb; get rid of chest armor legend too.

Only had Streetwise as a kid. Always wanted the rest of them. Maybe I overcompensated... :p

    Nobody "needs" toys. :)

I happen to think that Deluxe Groove looks too skinny as a leg next to Streetwise, or First Aid. He might look okay next to Blades, but I don't care for Blades as a leg. Still, I split the difference between "Geewun" and my own preference.

You're gonna tell me that this...

    ...looks better than this?

    Agree to disagree, then. ;)

I tried that look and don't care for it.

Agreed. Still, I have both and neither are going anywhere anytime soon. :D

I always thought G1 Menasor would have made a better Autobot. He's got that whole handsome, well proportioned thing going on. Plus, you know...cars. The unintended consequence of making him a 'Con is that he looks a bit meek compared to Bruticus. But perhaps that's not fair. He's a pretty solid, compact Scramble City combiner.
Something you could never say about CW Menasor.
I know the individual limbs are well thought of, but man he sucks when you put them altogether. I like that they've given him the demonic horns, but that is literally the only positive I can find. Blackjack seems to self eject whenever you tab him on, Deadend separates at the wrist if you try and make him hold the sword and those hips make T:30 Metroplex look robust. A floppy, irritating mess. BAH HUMBUG!
