he's gray. i think I prob. should have went a couple of shades darker.

Don't like the newly sculpted vehicle-mode weapon, and you should probably use a little masking tape before handling the windows next time, but other than that, this bash looks great. Awesome new headsculpt too.

 

I love it! He is my favorite of the ones you made. I love the arms and the new head. Great use of a movie figure.

So far you haven't let us down on these guys. I think I like this one the best. I also like the fack that you took away the movie look from him. By adding Starscreams arms, also I like the new head, it sets him of from being fab Blackout. But I'm not to crazy about that big connection peice behind his head (looks like a big ball of puddy) could of been cleaner.

Makes me wonder if there is a way to do mods like that to the Voyager scale also. I've been wanting to add him to my Alternators Combaticon collection. Man I really hope they decide to make Blackout/Grindor in Leader class this go around. Kinda like they did with Brawl last time.

 

yea, the paint is a bit sloppy. when i get him back, I'll be touching them up a little bit.

Yea, i'm not crazy about the connector piece either. I'll prob. be making another bruticus, and I'm def. going to go another route.

Why would you add such a small figure to your Alt collection?

There is a Fast Action Battler as well as Voyager versions of Black Out. TFW2005.com resources FTW!  

As others have said, there are points that you can work on, but I understand that this is a wip.  

 

That is why I haven't added him to my Alt collection. Although I do have the Voyager version of him, but he is still in box and not with my Alt collection. Also thats why I hope they do make the decision to make him in Leader class. Then I will probally sell/trade my Voyager class version of him.

Yes there is a Fab class of Blackout. Thats why I asked, because it kinda stumped me when I saw that you had Streakers arms on him. It made me think this was the Fab version, I wasn't thinking he was that small till I saw him here with those deluxe arms. Is he really that small in Bot mode?

 

Love it man! Love the use of Onslaughts head. Is that a spare head, or did you cast it. And are those classics sunstreaker/sideswipes arms?

Yes, I desperately want to try this mod myself!
I've had blackout since the first day he appeared in toy stores and basically threw him into a corner after an hour trying to make him transform and not have him detaching and flopping all over the damn place.
Should have been one of the best TFs ever...wasn't.

 

Man, the way it looks so g1 is nice. It feels as though it is not a movie line bot at all. These ALL look great!!
