    Much better looking in color, as others have said. But, now that I'm seeing the different head molds, I'm torn between which one to get. Cliffjumper looks better in the red, but I still love BB. If it wasn't for the price, I'd get them both. Decisions decisions.

    I was intrigued by the concept art, and was totally planning on getting Bee.

    But that toy design is fail. Head, arms, legs are fine, but the body/torso is shockingly crap.

    Pass on Bumblebee.

    Pass on Cliffjumper.

    Wallet, rest easy.

    While they do look better with color they still aren't very good. Such a shame really, I don't buy much anymore but would've picked up Bumblebee at least if he had actually come out pretty nice, ah well, my Henkei will hafta do.

    Man, if the doors folded back and the car roof pushed back into the body a bit, it would really improve the look.

    I much prefer Convoy and Megatron to anything that was made in the Alt/BT line. The lines are better, they change into each mode way more easily, and lock together much tighter than anything in the other lines.


    Even if these two are half as good as Convoy and Megatron, they will still be twice as good as just about anything else. These are a definite purchase for me.

    I am actually quite impress with the design... it follows the G1 transformation style with the big chest formed by the top of the car... and the foot formed by the front bumper of the car...

    I have been looking forward to a similar mold in the BT/Alternator line for Bumblebee (I was hoping for a VW Beatles or a BMW Mini)... anyway, Takara Tomy has done a good job with the G1 design concept in mind...

    Different heads just made me happier that I preordered. There was no doubt about buying these guys. I am not the happiest with the feet but I am ok with the big chest. The original figures had the same thing.

    As for the smaller scale, two words, MINI BOTS
